Sun Essential Oils Sage Essential Oil - Sage Aromatherapy Oil (2 Fluid Ounces)

I was pleased with the quality for the price. Was worried that given how relatively inexpensive it was compared to other options that it wouldn't be good but definitely smells like sage. Not quite the same as a damp morning in the Utah desert but pretty good.

When I’m looking for essential oils, I look for the Sun brand. I have used them for many different scents and have always been very satisfied. The scent is perfect if you’re looking for a clean, sage smell.

Said it all in the title

I love sun essential oils. Unless I need something they don't make, they're my exclusive source, for all things oil. I've been purchasing their products, regularly, for a few years, now and will continue to do so. As, both my father and I have benefitted greatly from the use of essential oils. My main recurring order is for frankincense, fir and copaiba, that I blend 1:1 with dmso, topically, for arthritic pain, which works wonders. The quality of Sun's products, efficacy and affordability are unmatched. As far as the sage goes, amazing aroma. Not much else to say. Sage has so many potential benefits, aside from the just the scent, as with anything, research, research, then, research a little more. But, it is highly recommended.

This has a wonderful strong scent but I think it is too think for my diffusers. In both diffusers sometimes they stop because the oil gathers in the middle and it’s too thick for the most to happen. The value is unbeatable but I think I’ll keep shopping around for better oil. Also, there is nothing included to get the oil out of the bottle. I don’t like using my other droppers from other oils. I wish it came with its own glass dropper.

very nice oil, fragrant with sage/piney notes, it came in a dark glass bottle, very important to preserve quality of the essential oil and to prevent leaching of chemicals from a plastic bottle. However, the oil was sent with a plastic eyedropper - not good; since the plastic will definitely degrade and leach potentially unhealthy compounds into the oil (which is a solvent!). Fortunately I have a supply of glass eyedroppers so, no problem with that issue. I think the quality of the oil itself is outstanding, but be sure to have glass eyedroppers on hand since this brand comes with plastic eyedroppers.

The Amazon listing for Sun Essential Oils 4oz bottle of Sage Oil shows a picture of the label which indicates the only ingredient to be: 'Sun Essentials Sage Oil'. I purchased this because I wanted 100% pure essential oil ... no fillers, no solvents, just essential oil. What I got was a bottle which BARELY smelled of sage, it is really difficult to detect any sage smell (my nose is working perfectly: I smelled other oils I have and they all smell as strong as essential oils usually do.) So I looked at the label and was shocked to see the ingredients shown as: 'Triethyl Citrate Oil and Sage Oil'. The only conclusion I can arrive at is there is so much Triethyl Citrate Oil in this bottle that it has overwhelmed whatever amount of Sage Oil was included, or the sage oil was of such poor quality that it is drowned out by the Trithyl Citrate Oil. Interestingly, Triethyl Citrate Oil is variously described on the web as a solvent, emulsifier, additive. It is produced via fermentation of ethanol and natural citric acid. I returned this product to Amazon for a full refund. If you are looking for a 100% pure Sage essential oil DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
