Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 - Nintendo DS

has elements of final fantasy tactics mixed with fire emblem. you get to know each character and really shape your game play to try to get to know and attempt to rescue each character when the opportunity comes up. heaps of story and character interaction keep you hooked. it's not just battle after monotonous battle. you can uniquely shape each main character and their team to function completely different based on how you form their teams and abilities. monster fusion is a huge bonus as you can pass awesome abilities from two monsters to a newer, stronger monster.my two complaints about the game are there isn't free roam and as yet, i can't see anything along the way of equipment. the different passive abilities and monsters on each team more than make up for that though.

I've always enjoyed the Shin Megami Tensei games. They generally have good stories with interesting battle systems. This game is no different, the story is a bit odd but certainly interesting and the incorporation of Persona 3's social link system (it isn't exactly the same but similar enough that I find myself caring about my characters more) makes it fun. It's amazing how much a difference having a small bonus systems for getting your characters to like you affects the game, I find myself caring about the characters and my choices much more than I normally would.TLDR it is a good game with some interesting quirks, and it worth the money.

I love the SMT series! This game was my first foray into the Devil Survivor spinoffs, and I loved it! The characters are funny/ great! Very well-developed.The game is addictive! Fusing demons to create stronger monsters is always fun, and I absolutely love how relentless your opponents in battle can be.You can't simply grind your way through this game--you must carefully strategize for each and every battle. The game can be unforgiving at times, but in the end, you will feel such joy when you clear stages. And the music is also kick-ass!

For anyone that played the first one, this game should be fairly familiar. Same basic idea. You get characters, they get two demons a pop, you run around a grid and wreck things. Also, just like the first game, this game is pretty hard. You really have to have a solid strategy for a lot of fights.Story is solid. Characters are well done and there are a lot of them so you will surely find a team you like.Tons of demons to use, more than the first game.Just like the first game, lots of post game content as well, and all of it very challenging so be prepared.

This game was awesome!I really appreciated the story's pacing (I'm so used to a much quicker, everything on the table at the start kind of story), and the game's features and play were really fun too.Admittedly a little difficult, and at times unnecessarily so, but I think in the end it was totally worth it!Definitely a must-have in my opinion!! (Coming from a Shin Megami Tensei fan)

Amazon was the most trust-able for me, until I bought this game. I bought 6 of the game in "New" condition. But they came with non-factory sealed. Some cover art dropped down from its position which was damaged by the non-factory plastic sealedI have to return 3 of them which were not in good condition and asked for partial refund from amazon for the rest of them.

I've had this game for almost a year and haven't taken it out of the plastic wrap yet because of all the other games I'm mulling over. I recently learned that a Nintendo 3DS remake with voice acting and one hundred extra hours of content is in the works. It looks like I'll be selling my unopened copy of this game soon.

Ordering this game on the 23rd of Dec I was pleasantly surprised to see it arrive on the 30th of Dec, especially with the estimated arrival date of 4th Jan~.Game was as described in the product details and works just great so no issues there.Alot cheaper than most stores would have it second hand.Enjoyable game and would recommend not only fans of the series but also to those that like JRPGs.

In naher Zeit wird auch ein Anime zu diesem Spiel erscheinen.INHALT:+ Positiv~nette Story, die auch sehr tiefgründige Themen aufgreift und sich je nach den Entscheidungen des Spielers verändert~Fanservice! ;P (Umkleide*husthust*)~große Anzahl an verschiedenen Dämonen, die im Team mit deinen Charakteren zu einzigartigen Strategiegespannen kombiniert werden können (Bsp.:Kombiniert den Skill Inferno mit 3 Chars x Feuerabsorption und heilt euch beim Angreifen)~Dämonen sind größtenteils anpassbar(allerdings nur direkt bei der Fusion)~hoher Anspruch (Viele Gegner, vorallem der letzte Endboss, sind nicht nur mit purer Muskelkraft zu besiegen, auch manche Bonuspunkte für den 2. Durchgang sind schwer zu ergattern)~hoher Wiederspielwert, da nach Beenden neues Bonusmaterial (Dämonenkompendiumeinträge werden btw bei Wiederholungsspielen beibehalten, solange es sich um eine Cleardatei handelt)| Neutral~Alle Chars ausser der Hauptcharakter haben einen festgelegten Werteanstieg, dadurch werden beliebte Charaktere oft nutzlos- Negativ~Mir fällt spontan nur der Endboss ein, der einen über 3 Stages scheucht, und jedes Mal, wenn man hofft, man habe es überstanden, kriegt man wieder eine rein D: (Evil No-Safe-Stage of D00m)Am Anfang des Spiels werdet ihr nach und nach in alle Funktionen des Games eingeleitet. Auch neue Spieler werden keine großen Schwierigkeiten haben. Das Kennen des ersten Teils ist nicht relevant für die Geschichte, da es sich um eine komplett neue Story mit neuen Charakteren handelt.Wirklich schade, dass das Spiel wohl niemals in Deutschland erscheinen wird, es würde viele neue Fans finden.Tipps und Tricks:Ich empfehle, den Main Charakter auf Angriff 40 und Def+Agi ~20-30 auszubauen, da man mit Pierce und Assassination+ passive Critspells meist die Bosse mit über 1000 critten kann(was für die meisten den Tod in der 1.-2. Runde bedeutet), das ist natürlich Geschmackssache, da auch die Almighty Zauberskills einiges zu bieten haben.Wenn im Menü todesemailsbetreffende Kämpfe angezeigt werden, solltet ihr diese schnellstmöglich abwickeln - später könnte es zu spät sein!Wenn ihr einen für euch perfekten Skillbuild für eure 4 Hauptcharaktere gefunden habt, schreibt ihr euch vorsorglich auf, da es sehr oft vorkommt, dass bestimmte Charaktere nicht immer verfügbar sind, und wenn sie wieder zu eurem Team stoßen, sind meist die Skills resetted.Bevor ihr den Endboss schlagt, speichert im Kompendium die aktuellen Level eurer Dämonen, da es sehr ärgerlich ist, wenn man nicht genug Punkte zusammen hat, um seine Dämonen in einen neuen Spielstand zu übernehmen, und nur die zuletzt gespeicherten Daten im Kompendium erhalten sind. Dies kann zu sehr ärgerlichen Leveleinbüßungen eurer Enddämonen führen! ;) *aus Erfahrung sprech*Überlegt euch bei einem erneuten Durchlauf genau, welche Ziele ihr schaffen wollt, und legt eure Bonuserrungenschaften darauf aus. Solltet ihr z.B. das Dämonenkompendium vervollständigen wollen, empfieht es sich, die Expgrenze entfernen zu lassen.
