Holy Bible: King James Version (Barnes & Noble Leatherbound Classic Collection)

Big bible with introduction and extra information. Includes pictures drawn by Gustave Dore. Absolutely beautiful bible with good font easy to read. Good separation. It doesn’t include the little tabs that you can jump to other chapters with but it has a bookmark. It’s meant to be a Bible you read if you’re reading the Bible the proper way not jumping to different verses like you would in a church. It has a hefty weight too. I love this Bible. Praise god

Wonderful layout and perfect, easy navigation with the newer touchscreen Kindles. I've tried a lot of Kindle Bibles and for the KJV this one is perfect for reading. There are no verse numbers and it's set up in paragraph format for easy reading. You can quickly jump to any chapter of the Bible and there are small, but easy to ignore chapter markers. Overall this is a 9 out of 10... I wish poetry such as Psalms were formatted to poetry, but the paragraph formatting still works, in other parts of the KJV Bible the formatting is perfect. Thank you to the publishers for producing this excellent KJV Kindle Bible.

BEAUTIFUL Bible! This will be a family keepsake for sure!

To anyone unsure, the title: '1611 Edition 400th Anniversary ' should be the giveaway - it's not in Modern English. Is it very difficult for the average person to read? probably... The only legitimate reason to have it is that you simply want it - otherwise. spend your money on a modern version of the KJV. All that aside, it is a beautiful book; well done, and a serious tool and collector's item for the student of the Gospels.

I had lost my bible and was in need of a replacement

This Bible is an absolute unit. Looks stunning in person the pictures don't do it justice. Lovely guilding and detailing, and every page is thick book paper not the thin standard Bible paper, very clear and easy to read with lovely presentation. The illustrations are also lovely however I would have really liked it if they included some maps and conversion tables etc like some other Bibles do however cannot fault it. One other thing that bugs me however is the way the leather is attached to the spine feels like it might break over time, or it might be fine after 100 years, won't be able to tell yet but overall it seems fantastic and would definitely recommend if you can find a copy. Seems difficult to come across in the UK most copies being sold are from the USA, I got mine from Paper Cavalier who had extremely reasonable pricing and fantastic service so look into them if you are in the UK and are looking for one!

The best imported holy bible ever received or bought.

This edition of the King James Bible is wonderful to have and wonderful to hold. The only issue I have is that the abundant illustrations are a little on the dark side. But even with that, the book is a joy and I’m very, very happy that I have it.
