No sanding required.
This paint is brilliant, i didn't have to sand down this previously glossed internal door, i used a brush & mini roller. It goes a long way, worth every penny.

Good coverage but messy
This is a great product to cover water stains etc, act as a primer and undercoat. A small amount also goes a long way. However, unlike many zinser products this is oil based so not appropriate if you need to maintain a breathable surface such as for lime based plaster on period homes without a damp proof course. As it is oil based it can be a little messy, requires quite a lot of stiring, has a strong odour (although this disapates reasonably quickly) and the brush requires turps/white spirit or substitute to clean. Recommended for the right circumstances.
