HINMAY Mini Tongs with Silicone Tips 7-Inch Kitchen Tongs Small Serving Tongs, Set of 3 (Black White Grey)

I wanted tongs that were small and all I could find in my local shops were massive outdoor BBQ style ones. So I got these in the hope that they weren't the complete opposite to what I want and end up being so small and useless. Pleased to say that they are indeed small but not too small. They do open enough to be able to turn the burgers ir steak being grilled. I have a hinged hot plate grill. It is one of those ones that can to a mean toastie or panini. So naturally I don't want to stratch the non stick surface as I turn the meat or chicken. The heat ressistant end grips well and has even made direct contact with the grill plates. I have even used them to run along the grill plates surface to drag the unwanted fat juices build up towards the collection dish. Yet the tongs haven't changed shape or melted or even shown any sign of being affected my the heat.The only difficulty I had was that the chicken is thicker and when I try to pick it up with only the tongs, it moves or pushes backwards away from the tongs. So I solved that by using something behond the chicken to stop it doing that.I would recommend these. And if 3 different colours you can allergy control in the kitchen better by allocating red to the food which someone has an allergy to. Then it makes it easier to know not to use that pair of tongs for any other food. Or you can allocate which colour tongs is the allergy free pair and only use those tongs for food associated with that persons dietary requirement.

I use tongs a lot in cooking, so having several pairs makes sense. These ones are a good size, but don’t try to pick up a whole chicken with them! If they’re anything like previous identical ones I have bought, they will probably not last more than a couple of years. And while they’re cheap enough, I’m uncomfortable at the landfill content they will end up.

Just started using these two days ago. When washing them for first time silicone came off the end. Very disappointed. I received the black ones. (just had message back from makers. Didn't realise tips came off for washing. Find that a bit awkward)

I like the way that these are finished smoothly all round ... no burrs to have to remove. Nice size for serving at buffets. The steel along the sides is shaped to fold inwards and they are also cut away slightly at the hinge, both of these features helps to avoid them pinching the hand which is operating them. The price point of £13.99 for 6 seems about right. Very pleased with purchase and happy to recommend.

These are the perfect size for general kitchen use. Turning chicken, serving dinner, etc. They looked a bit small upon opening the package but when I started to use them they were just perfect.Wash well in the dishwasher so far too.

Really like these tongs as they are so useful in the kitchen and just a nice size to hold I use them for so many things, the last ones I had were just one colour so really like the fact that these were different colours.

I’ve bought these before and mine vanished with kids as they left home, so had to replace them as they are that handy. They grip food well and are a nice length plus I like the colours.

Bought for a single event but were too wide for picking up tightly packed sandwhiches from a tray but I've found them useful at home. Compact and don't take up much space in a drawer.
