**Q: Is Ivarest gluten free?**
A: @Emma Baldwin - people who are allergic to gluten can't have it in anything, including topical ointment, soaps, etc.

I don't see anything gluten in the online ingredients but I would contact the company directly just to be sure.

**Q: What is the shelf life? How long is it good for once opened? How long is it good stored not opened?**
A: Honestly, it lasts forever. We've had an open bottle for 2 years and it's still effective.

**Q: Does this come with a silver safety seal over the opening? Tube looks used.**
A: The ones I have did not come with a safety seal over it, but they are not recent purchases.  I don't know if they now do.  The product, however, is great for treating poison ivy.

**Q: Where is this product made?**
A: Ivarest is a manufactured by Blistex, which has headquarters in IL. I don't know specifically about this product, but the majority of Blistex products are made in the USA
