With that in mind, I inspected for myself and did notice a faint area like thecustomer mentioned - - probably not all that noticeable though unless one was intentionally looking forsuch.Could maybe be something in the coloring process since it is a similar repeat of what the other customersaw in his/her mug - - rather than a one-time occurrence that only he/she found.All in all, though I generally would have preferred a powder-blue shade, Still I like this mug.
