Does it fit in the microwave? Does it have to be folded?

We have a pretty large microwave and I still end up folding each end under or sometimes I fold it in half. I microwave about 1:50... is great hear about 10-15 minutes... hope this helps

How long does this stay hot?

For me, it has stayed a very good temperature for about 20 minutes. I try not to get it too hot. If after that amount of time, you want to heat it back up, it doesn't take as long as the first time and you could get it too hot to use and would have to wait until it cooled down. Most all heating pads like this I have had over the years acts the same. I like the strong velcro as it keeps it where it does the most good and I can walk around if I need to
