Easy to install and it screws in perfectly you don’t even need a gun or nothing. You probably want pliers to take out whatever was the hardware that was there before but other than that as far as the install goes, it’s as simple as can be you just place it pop female pins in and then secure them with the male ones

I bought this for my 2012 Toyota Tundra. This is a good substitute for the price if you're looking to replace your tailgate trim. Not sure about the comparison to the OEM replacement, except the OEM is 7X the price. My trim was damaged and would rattle when the wind hit it while driving, so I wanted to replace it before it flew off and hit a car. I struggled to get it to “snap” into the tailgate holes and broke one of the fixed anchors trying to hit it by hand into place. It still secured to the tailgate, though. The holes didn't quite line up, as some other reviews said. I just pushed it as far as I could while installing the anchors. The anchors went in fine and seemed to hold it securely to the tailgate. There is a size difference on the outer part of the trim. I could tell from the dirt line that was previously concealed under the original trim. With all that said, I still give it five stars. If you want an exact replacement, you should probably pony up the money for the OEM replacement. I can't speak yet to the durability from daily wear and tear.

This fit perfect on my 2007 tundra. All holes lined up. Install took less than 5 minutes. It looks just like a factory one. Great quality. All parts for install were included.

2012 Toyota Tundra replacement. Fit okay but certainly not as sturdy or substantial like the original. Use a rubber mallet to assist. Still think it could fly off as others have said but I have a shell on the back so it will stay in place. Just trying to spruce up my13 year old truck so it does the job there.

I read several bad reviews on this after I had bought it but before it was delivered. All I can say is, mine arrived in good shape, fit pretty close to as it should, and it seems to be durable. The whole thing took 5 minutes to install. I am happy with it.

Ordered for a 2007 Tundra. It fits well other than the screw, or zipit holes which are drilled in the wrong place. Further the zipits to hold in place are not the right size for the tailgate holes. I installed the closest ones but they all fell out over a short period of time. It is currently just snapped in place and comes off when something is dragged over it. Very inconvenient

First of all, this is a perfect fit for a Tundra TRD 2011 4x4 V8 5.7. So the guy in the comments saying it doesn't fit the 2011 don't know squat... Little tip, get yourself a rubber mallet to install it . Very tight but that's perfect ! Seems like it could sit a little better on the outer side of the tail gate but hey ! 100 $ shipping included, worth every penny !!! BUY BUY BUY !!!!
