Portable Monitor, 15.6" IPS HDR 1920X1080 FHD Eye Care Travel Screen USB C Gaming Monitor, Dual Speaker External Monitor HDMI Type-C VESA for Laptop PC Phone w/Case

I purchased this monitor as a secondary screen for my gaming/workstation setup and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of the product considering the price point. There are not many available monitors on the market that have the versatility this one does at the 15.6" size point. I was searching for one that could be mounted via a VESA configuration and had a full-size HDMI input. Most other options utilize a mini-HDMI port and very few offer VESA compatibility which is understandable as they are intended to be portable, not necessarily a fixed monitor. While I have never used this product to travel with, I believe it would make for a great on-the-go solution for when a second screen is needed. It is very slim and lightweight and comes with a soft-shell protective cover that doubles as a prop up stand which is convenient. It was also nice to see that every cable you need to setup and use the product came in the box. I did have an issue with my unit a few months past the return date for Amazon, however upon reaching out to Uperfect's customer support, I was quickly taken care of and offered an expedited replacement for any inconvenience it may have caused. Overall, I'm very happy with the product itself and more so impressed by the after sales support this company offers.

Great value. Can be plugged directly into the laptop for power. Plug it in to the wall to get the higher brightnesses advertised. It really is quite bright, easy to see outside. Portable and reasonably light (although it is more solid than the cheaper units, which can be very light). One point with any product like this - If you think you are going to use it in the sun for an extended period, it will be bright enough, but the heat of the sun will likely become a problem, even in moderate temperatures. The first problem is that the backing support will warp, so you'll need to protect the backing support from direct sunlight (I put a small towel over the back).

Super easy to connect to my Macbook Pro, and the display quality is really solid. Way better than the 1080 monitor that I bought before and returned. I can truly use this as a secondary display when I'm on the road without feeling like I'm losing anything from my display at home. It's in my bag whenever I go on a work trip or working out of the coffee shop.

First of all, UPERFECT has excellent customer service. I've owned their 1080p monitor for about a year and a half now, and every time I've reached out to them they've been very quick to respond, and their customer service representatives seem genuinely interested in helping you resolve your issues. Shoutout to Sophia (the most recent customer service rep who I've communicated with) who got a cable mailed out to me that was supposed to have been sent out a while back, and who is currently helping me exchange my malfunctioning monitor. This is the first portable monitor I have owned, and I bought it specifically to hook up a Blu-ray player to it via HDMI cable to watch movies. For that purpose, it was quite good. I connected it to my laptop as well, and it worked fine for that as well. I think it would be a good secondary screen for work/computer stuff, if that's what you're looking for. I like that it's relatively inexpensive, and it came with many cables to connect a variety of things to it. Like I said, I mostly used it to watch Blu-ray movies on it. It's a light, good size screen with great HD picture quality, and after experimenting with the settings (there's quite a few) the color seemed pretty good on it as well. In my opinion, the two biggest flaws with this monitor are the side buttons, and the volume control. The side buttons do multiple things, so it takes some experimenting and getting used to to use them properly. Luckily, once I fixed the settings to my liking, I didn't have to fiddle with them again every time I used the monitor. My issue with the sound was that the volume didn't really go past 65 (out of 100). The numbers would increase, but the volume wouldn't. I had to bring the volume on it and my Blu-ray player down to around 70, and then increase them both at the same time in order for the actual volume to go up. I always used headphones with it, and also felt like it could be louder. I definitely recommend attaching a speaker to it, if you're not using headphones with it. I never had any connectivity issues with this monitor until recently when it started no longer showing an image; just the sound would come through. Luckily I had an extended warranty on it, so I reached out to customer service. No obvious solutions fixed the problem, so I'm in the middle of the return process to get a new one sent to me. In the year and a half that I owned this monitor, I actually didn't use it all that much, so it's a bit concerning that it would stop functioning properly with such little use. I might've just gotten a defective product, and hopefully the new monitor they send to replace it will last longer. The return process is simple enough to give it another shot and overall, the monitor worked well for what I needed it for.

TIP for people using it as a second monitor to a late 2015 imac; the cord you need is a 🔺 mini display to HDMI🔺. Mine was like $40 CA, Insignia brand, got it at Best Buy. Plug the included power adapter and power cord in, plug the mini display end of the adaptor cord into one of the Thunderbolt 2 inputs, and plug the HDMI end into the monitor. It turns out that according to Apple, Thunderbolt 2 and mini display, while not exactly the same, work exactly the same for this use. I have found HDMI inputs generally a little fussy, you might need to wiggle it a bit, but this awesome little monitor fired right up. Would def buy again.

Still using this 1 year later and no problem. This is probably the only portable monitor with 1200 nits. Still bright and shining

Not recommended at all! This monitor is generic, brandless and look totally different than the photos and it's made of cheap plastic, not CNC as mentioned in the ad! I am returning it for a full refund!

Like: connections are very easy with C type data cable. Normal c type power cable is unbale to charge. Clarity is good, quality looks good. Able to power up by connecting device (have not tried projecting with this mode) Charge connecting device with data cable possible. Price is good for this product. (No touch screen) Dislike: considered heavy for me
