Shock Doctor Men's Core Support Hockey Shorts with Protective Bioflex Cup (Adult)

This replaced an older similar jock short that was made by Reebok. I thought it was great until I got this one and then I realized that it was overbuilt with needless added on material and straps inside like a traditional jock. This Shock Doctor is lightweight, appears well made, has Velcro to hold hockey socks, and most importantly the fit is excellent. The cup sits in a way that gives full protection without inhibiting movement. The cup itself is a nice design with a good shape and comfortable edge material. You don't need to spend more to get a good compression jock short. Get this one!

Used them half a dozen times. You shouldn't notice a good compression short and I dont notice anything when I am playing. They fit well hold up my socks and keep my cup in place. Absolutely no issues and they are a good price. Just a note, I have not used the included cup, several reviews noted that it pinched so I cant comment on that.

Fit right and does its job so far. I’ve watched numerous puck hit my son in the cup and it preformed well. When the day comes my son tries for children’s and is or is not successful I will come back and do an update on whether or not it did its job or not

Fit and feel awesome. Just don’t understand why the Velcro stars for the socks aren’t centered. Socks never have the matching Velcro off center so now socks are off centered and skewed. Weird.

An absolute must have for any hockey player of any skill level, especially if needing to adhere hockey socks to thighs. These are very durable, lightweight, moisture wicking, and keep the cup safely in place during games. The pocket has held together well, and the velcro has stayed very effective through many wears and washes.

My son is 12 (turning 13 soon). He’s got a husky build…I’ve been ordering Adult Small and he says they are really comfortable. I was ordering the Youth Large but he wasn’t comfortable with the waist. My son is on the ice 5 days a week. Practice 3 days, games on weekends, Tournaments, spring hockey. The Shock Doctors really hold up…he has a few pairs with the Velcro & a few pairs without..but he got to the point where he asked for just the Velcro, bc it’s much easier then taping up. They are insanely durable. It does say dry on a low Tumble…but I dry them on the line now, bc I noticed the dryer messes with the Velcro. Just makes the fabric looser & thinner..now I know the constant use of the Velcro also causes wear & tear & rips…but truthfully that’s the only issue I see. (And it’s not even an issue, lol. Just something I noticed.) I know they are a bit on the pricey side; when compared to others. I did purchase a pair from 2 other competitors..comparing on fabric & durability….Ive gotta say shock doctor is the winner thus far I’m curious to see how they hold up.😁

I am not usually one to like jock shorts. These really impressed me, however, in terms of fit, comfort, protection, and design. I still advocate wearing a cloth jock under these to ensure that something does not creep out from under the cup, resulting in more damage than wearing no protection. Unlike most jock shorts the cup pocket is specially designed so that it holds the cup where it is needed.

Expensive for what product capabilities.

Compré este protector hace casi 2 años, le he dado un uso rudo, utilizándolo 4-5 días a la semana y debo reconocer que la calidad del producto es excelente. Sin duda lo recomiendo e, incluso, estoy por pedir uno más; el anterior, aun cuando todavía funciona perfectamente, se ha ganado a pulso un relevo. Por cierto, lo adquirí en talla G, mido 1.83m y peso 86kg y me quedó excelente.

El tallaje es correcto, de cintura y caderas se ajusta perfectamente al cuerpo, pero el final de las piernas es mas ancho que la parte superior, por tanto no ajusta correctamente, quizas lo adecuado sea pedir una talla menos.

Use this for ice hockey. Exchanged for a garter belt. This is way better. More comfortable and easier to use
