CERAVE Resurfacing Retinol Serum 30 ml

Iv been using Cerave for quite some time now and I can vouch for it working!

I’m converted to this stuff! I was a bit skeptical at first because of the lower retinol concentration and the price, but after just a few weeks of use I’ve already noticed a real difference. In summer I even use it as my moisturiser, so I don’t have to layer anything heavier on my skin. My red marks and blemishes have definitely reduced, and my skin looks overall more glowy and healthy. I have sensitive skin and haven’t had any issues with dryness or irritation, which is a big plus.

This is truly amazing. I’m 41 and my face was looking old, my skin started to look dry and dull. I used this once and it completely changed my face, it was so smooth, I had an even texture and over and a georgous healthy glow. Honestly this is magic in a bottle

Very good quality for skin improvement and clarity

It is very expensive for what it is (and I bought it on sale for like £9) Bought to smooth out skin texture caused by comedomal acne on the forehead and chin, it's improved by about 2/3rds but has remained the same for the past month with no further improvement so i won't buy this again (im sure there are cheaper products that do a similar thing) It hasn't lasted very long, bough 28 November and it's run out on the 14th Jan (2-3 pumps daily)

I've been using for more than 3 months now, it helped with my dark spots and Hyperpigmentation around mouth. Not going to say it's completely gone or saw overnight change, it lightened darkness slowly. It's a small tube but long lasting, I've been checking the hole in the bottom to see how much product has been pumped out so far. Would buy again. I used Olay retinol cream before this but did not like it much. This one leaves a better non-greasy feel which I much preferred. Good value for money.

I bought this serum after seeing so many recommendations online and reading positive reviews. I’ve used CeraVe products before and generally had good experiences, so I felt quite confident buying this. Unfortunately, this serum has been a real disappointment. I used it consistently for several weeks, following the instructions carefully and introducing it gradually into my skincare routine. Despite giving it plenty of time to work, I honestly saw very little improvement in my skin. The post-acne marks I was hoping would fade looked pretty much the same, and the overall texture of my skin didn’t improve in any noticeable way. What was even more frustrating was that my skin started feeling irritated and slightly dry after using it regularly. I know retinol can cause some adjustment issues, but I expected a gentler experience from a product marketed as being suitable for sensitive skin. The bottle is also quite small for the price, and it runs out faster than you’d expect if you’re using it consistently. For something that didn’t deliver results for me, it ended up feeling like poor value for money. I kept telling myself to stick with it because skincare takes time, but after weeks of use, I was left wondering what exactly I was paying for. The results simply weren’t there. I’m very disappointed with this purchase and would like a refund, as the product did not live up to my expectations and failed to deliver the benefits advertised. Sadly, I won’t be repurchasing this serum.

This is ONLY MY OPINION! After reading multiple reviews, I bought it. I have acne scars I want to get rid of and new acne all the time due to wearing a mask for 12 hours at work (stupid covid.) Well some of the reviews on here said it gave people “chemical burns.” So day one I used just a tiny bit, working my way up to using it on my whole face about a week later. I ended up getting a chemical burn area on my chin. Sorry, didn’t take pictures. It lasted about a week and luckily healed. I haven’t used it since. Just be cautious if you have sensitive skin. I will say, I bought Curology and it has done WONDERS for me. Look in to it.

Great product and results are noticeable within 10 days

My mom had really bad acne scarring and pigmentation due to lack of sun protection when she was young. Used this on her and the results after 3 months were very encouraging, her scars and dark spots are almost all gone now. She has oily skin, so she didn’t have any trouble with the product applied directly to her face without moisturiser. For my combination skin, I need to apply a moisturiser at the dry parts before applying this. Highly recommended

I started using CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum mainly to improve uneven skin texture and post-acne marks. After a few weeks of use, I noticed my skin looking smoother and more even. What I liked is that the formula feels very lightweight and absorbs quickly, without the heavy or greasy feeling some serums have. It’s also quite gentle for a retinol product, probably because of the added ceramides and soothing ingredients. I usually apply it at night after cleansing, followed by a moisturizer, and it sits well on the skin without irritation.
