Haunting of hill house follows the Crain family, we bounce back and forth between the early 90's to the present (which was 2018 I think) and how one summer at hill house changed their lives and not for the better. Flanagan has a way of making his characters rich with development and given the 10 episode arc he has here we are able to see them in all their beautiful, flawed glory. It works because the storyline is engaging and the characters suck you in by being well human and real, these are not one-note stereotypes you often find in your typical horror stories. Between the fantastic acting, the solid scripts, the house itself, and the reveal of the bent-neck lady which is one of the most shocking reveals I've seen in a long time, can more than suggest this for anyone interested in deeply layered wonderful ghost stories. The product itself is fine, as described and got here on time so all good.
