The tester works well. At first we thought it was defective because nothing happened. Then, we added salt to the water...it lit up! Nothing had happened because there wasn't any detectable salt in the water to start. Only issue is you have to hold the on button. It is supposed to stay on when you press the button, but it doesn't. Still, it works.

First one didn’t work- reordered thinking maybe first one was just faulty. Second one also doesn’t work. Very disappointed. Terrible product.

This unit is not working. The green power LED is ON but when I put a probe in a water with three table spoon of salt - no one red LED is on. Requested defective return and replacement. Received replacement and this one is working.

It does not come with batteries even though there are battery cavities for batteries.

Arrived without batteries. You could tell it was supposed to come with batteries because there were empty spots in the packaging where they should of been. Product was of cheap quality from a visual inspection but couldn't even test due to missing batteries. Poof quality control.... returned.

We tested 2 oz's of water with a TBL of salt & 2 oz's of water with no salt. The same light lit up.
