I never thought I'd be so excited about a chair base, but here we are. I got the MASTERY MART Office Chair Base Replacement and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my beat-up old chair. If your chair has ever wobbled like it’s on a ship in stormy seas, this is the rescue mission you need. First things first: 28 inches of solid, heavy-duty metal 💪. This bad boy can handle up to 2500 lbs! I mean, I don’t plan on inviting the entire office to sit on my chair, but it’s nice to know it could handle it if I did. Seriously, the sturdiness is next-level. Installation? Easy-peasy. I’m no DIY expert, but this took me less than 10 minutes, and it fit perfectly with my existing chair. Now, my chair feels as solid as a rock—no more squeaks, no more tilt drama when I lean back to "think deeply" (aka scroll through social media). And let’s talk about the wheels... Oh wait, we can't because this base doesn’t come with wheels. But hey, slap your old ones on, or upgrade those too if you’re feeling fancy. Bottom line: If your office chair is on life support, this base is the cure. It's like turning a worn-out jalopy into a Ferrari (okay, maybe not a Ferrari, but you get the point). **Update 6 months later. Still very happy with my purchase. I'm a big boy at 300+ and, as of yet, have had no issues with the base. Still very sturdy and working great! Would Recommend. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a sturdy base. I would note that some issues required some brute-forcing while putting it together. I would still recommend this base because it is terrific-looking and VERY sturdy. The tolerances on the center part are a tad bit off by the thickness of the paint. When putting the legs on, I had to work at it and wiggle them back and forth to get them on. Stripping the paint off the sides by twisting it back and forth, the legs fit fine once the paint was out of the way. If you lack arm strength, ask a friend to help, as it is worth the trouble once you get it together.

The base is nice and sturdy, and looks good. Easy to install too, as long as you can remove the old base. The only thing I don't love, is that it raised the height of my chair. Now when I set my chair to the minimum height adjust, it is at the maximum of my old chair, and I don't think I would really use a higher height level than this. SO it effectively made my chair a single height chair, and I am missing some of the lower height adjustments for when I'm relaxing a bit,

The quality control and quality assurance of this manufacturer are truly outstanding. This chair base is a must for any so-called "big and tall" desk chair. I used this to replace the plastic base on a Lazy Boy desk chair on which one of the caster slots broke. This new addition has made the chair much stronger capacity-wise and has zero chance of similar breakage in the future. One note is this metal chair base is designed such that it adds an inch or two to the seat pan elevation. That said, it is perfect for taller people like myself. I strongly recommend this chair base. It was delivered quickly as well.

Used this on a Secretlab Titan 2020 with some rollerblade wheels. Feels really sturdy and was easy to assemble. I like the look, too. It looks kind of premium and doesn't have the typical office chair flat look.

I expect this Chair Base Replacement to last the remaining lifetime of my current chair and perhaps other chairs in the future. It seems to be extremely durable. The base will cause your chair to sit a bit higher. Even higher yet if you choose the roller blade type wheels. (I did not) The lowest setting on the chair is a little higher than the height I had previously chosen to sit, but that really isn't a significant issue for me and I give it an overall 5 star rating. Removing the previous base from the chair needed some research. I found two videos online, one where you used a rubber hammer to whack to old base downward and off, the other where you took a whack at the piston rod bottom to try to force it off. I whacked the old base about 50 times before giving up and taking a whack at the piston rod bottom. One whack was all I needed to remove itl If you don't have a rubber hammer you could use a normal hammer and a wooden board to protect the bottom of the piston.

It comes in parts, so a little assembly is required. It's really heavy duty and you can see the quality in it. Unfortunately I had to return it, as I forgot to check how high it is, and I couldn't sit on my chair as it was too tall for my desk and my feet didn't touch the floor.

So thankful that I bought this product. Was able to fix a chair that I paid a lot of money on but the wheel base was not up to standard, had to replace it within the first year I bought it and the replacement did not last very long. Have no fears that this base will last a very long time. No problem assembling the base.

It came in such a small package I though I had received the wrong part, but it was just very clever packaging. It was extremely easy to assemble and very strong once done. It does add height to the chair so be careful if you add rollerbalde wheels like I did as your chair will now be much higher
