I always have to unscrew the bottom where the filter is, empltynof water and a paper disposable sheet it there again. So I stopped using them and bought this. They are for preventing colour runs while being washed **Q: Does this also collect dirt/dust, like the single use 'colour and dirt collector' ones?** A: I put this in my washing machine and it means that my colours don’t run into other items. But it doesn’t collect dust as there would be no dust in your washing machine **Q: I accidently put blacks in with whites, will it get my whites clean** A: I wouldn’t think so.
