Is this in a plastic bottle?

The 500ml and 1l bottles are plastic bottles which makes some much 200 to 350 gram lighter then glass bottles, easier to handle and not breakable

How would one store this, in the drawer/cabinet or fridge?

As long as the bottle is closed, the drawer is fine. Once opened please store the syrup in the fridge and consume in around a month. The opened syrup will start a process where sugar crystallises- the speed depends on the temperature at which stored. That is an entirely natural process similar to honey- it’s no harm to food safety just unpleasant.

How dark is your syrup?

For grade A maple syrup there are 4 types or flavours, Golden translucency >75%, Amber >50%, Dark >25% and Very Dark <25%. These are defined by the Canadian maple board and checked. Our single source syrup strictly follows that rules but appear lighter as the usual ungraded blends you get in UK shops, it is simply not mixed with those from other farms. Just in case you find our dark syrup to light, try our very dark. We do offer the whole range of all four flavours
