This is a beautiful, bright, vibrant red. Adding red accent to the kitchen this was perfect.

I ordered this paper towel holder mainly for the look, and it really is pretty in person. The color is nice and adds a pop of red to the kitchen without being overpowering. It does its job well and works as expected for everyday use. That said, the quality seems a bit inconsistent. While it has a good weight to it, it actually feels a little too heavy, and the rod has already started to loosen. The sturdiness isn’t quite what I expected, and I can understand how some people have had issues over time. The biggest concern for me is the paint. There were small chips when it arrived, and the finish doesn’t feel especially durable. This will be a high-use item in my house, so time will tell, but I’m giving it 4 stars for now due to the issues mentioned above.

I bought this for my kitchen. My kitchen is basically white. I've got red and blue things throughout the kitchen to add some color. The holder itself is ok. But that flappy silver thing that's suppose to hold the paper towels in place each time you tear off a sheet isn't really doing it's job. I have to pretty much push it into place to hold the next towel. If I could take that silver stick off without ruining the paper towel holder itself, I would. I'd recommend it for its color, but that's about it.
