D'Addario Electric Guitar Strings, XT Nickel Coated, XTE1046, Regular Light Gauge 10-46, 6-String Set, Pack of 1

These strings are great. They are expensive but last a long time compared to other uncoated strings. They have a different rock tone than Ernie Ball, which I loved until I noticed I was only getting two hours of play time out of them while these have given me months of monster tone. Plus they are coated so you can leave them on the guitar in the case for months and they are still fresh.

I almost exclusively use D'Addarios on my acoustic guitars, and decided to try these out on my sons ESP. The strings have pretty good tone. The claim that these guitar strings fall out of tune less than others seems true so far. He's been playing on these for about a week now and so far so good.

I'm generally very picky with my strings, but I loved these. They sound nice and bright with plenty of sustain, and the tuning is stable as a table - pretty much a one and done tuning. They never came close to breaking, and it took weeks for them to full, even though I play for an hour or two every day. They're on the more expensive side, but think of it like you're paying for two packs of strings in one. Obviously your mileage may vary, depending on how sweaty your fingers get, but either way you'll be happy with these.

Been using D'Addario strings for years but never tried the XTs before. Been using them on my Heritage semi-hollow to avoid the extra brightness of standard round wounds. Been liking them.

Good strings for the money not sure about longevity haven't had them long enough but they do sound good.

Best strings I have used. I used to use XLs which sound great but don’t last and sometimes I would get a bad string in a pack. I switched to NYXLs and they are great but a bit bright. Tried XS and they feel slippery and sound dead. The XT strings are like NYXLs in terms of feel and quality but sound like XLs so they are perfect.

After finding out my nephew inherited my old guitar, I decided it was time to put some new strings on it. These strings brought the guitar back to life and made it sound great. Not to mention tuning was a lot easier too. Can't say for sure on longevity but I have no doubt they will last as long as any of the other strings I purchased for my own guitar.

Il giudizio sulle corde per chitarra è molto personale, al pari dei plettri e delle chitarre stesse. In generale non amo i prodotti d'Addario, ma queste, uscite da qualche anno, sono diventate un po' il mio riferimento. Sono corde che resistono bene al sudore, purtroppo acido, delle mie mani, anche se non come le elixir, per cui garantiscono una buona durata. Il suono è ben definito, con una timbrica tendente al dolce ma non privo di brillantezza, per cui incontrano molto il mio gusto, al contrario le D'Addario EXL le trovo troppo squillanti e prive di raffinatezza. La suonabilità la trovo ottima, non ho nulla da rilevare. Se si acquistano i pack da tre mute quando sono in offerta hanno davvero un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Come si suol dire, consigliate.

Bought it for my acoustic guitar as an experiment...and it sounded too good. The strings are smooth and can handle rust. The vibration even reached till my foot. It's totally magic. There was no defect in the product, absolutely trustable.
