I love the Acurit Vanish Touch Artist Eraser, it is very effective on most paper, media and on gesso sealed canvas. The eraser block can be cleaned and when it is too worn to clean just cut off the worn part with a razor and it is like new again. Also, you can cut it to shape for fine eraser spot needs. Light reflections are easy with a sharp point on your Acurit Vanish Touch Artist Eraser. See pix. It is firm and holds its shape, also soft enough not to damage your paper. Acurit Vanish Touch Artist Eraser will lift charcoal when other products will not. I have been using the Acurit Vanish Touch Artist Eraser for a few years and I am happy! And will buy again! This is a long lasting low crumb eraser that really works well. It does not damage the paper and is very effective at removing graphite and doesn’t smear. It’s the only eraser I will buy for my art, and encourage my students to invest in one too.

It's a big eraser! It does well erasing graphite, fair on colored pencils. I like how it feels in my hand. My only gripe is it stinks. It has a very strong chemical smell which sticks to your skin. I am not usually bothered by smell but these have a definite smell to them which is off putting.

Ordered this eraser after hearing Karen Campbell rave about it. It is truly everything she said. The name Vanish is perfect because it really does make pencil lines vanish. I'm sold. This is the only eraser I will use. Also shout out for Karen's books. They are great!

Works okay

I recieved this eraser and was worried that I had waisted alot of money on it. Well I got the biggest shock, after building up many layers of polychromo pencils in a small area of shrubbery along a garden path I decided to add dark pink flowers. As soon as I started I hated it. Distressed I thought I ruined my picture. But no this eraser removed the mistakes so easily I barely had to apply any pressure and that gave me better cocntrçol over the size of the area removedn.vn And no damadge to the tooth of the paper. It took all the layers off and I could add them back and you can't even tell there was ever a mistake made there. I have only tested it with coloured pencils. But the results I got have taken away a huge amount of fear because the mistakes are so easily removed.

I tried many erasers in the past. I think these are the best. They erase pencil without effort. I’ve also used on colour pencils. The crumbs rub off in large clumps, can be discarded easily.

Que no deja residuos pequeños o polvo es una verdad a medias, el borrador necesita ser utilizado de cierta manera, con una presión relativamente uniforme, si no, dejará rastros de migas, como cualquier otro borrador convencional. No tengo inconveniente por su olor característico, pero sigo prefiriendo las gomas amasables, unas mejores que otras, en cuanto a su desempeño para borrar los trazos residuales de lápiz. Ahora sólo utilizaré este borrador Vanish, con los trazos de lápiz muy persistentes que desee eliminar. Cosa que he hecho siempre con cualquier otro borrador.
