Bought this for my brother starting work with me. Accurate, does not fold 5 feet out, and clips onto your tool backpack or belt clip. Would buy again for somebody who needs it.

Pretty solid tape measure. -1 star do to the way it locks. It'll hold its place regardless if the lock is on or off. When the lock is on, the tape will not move even if you try to pull it. When it's off, it will hold its place but you can still move it with the slightest pressure. I'd rather have it just lock when I wanna lock it and be unlocked when I unlock it. The body of it feels solid. It is a hard plastic that seems durable, I have dropped it a few times and I didn't notice any damage on it. The tape quality also seems pretty solid, it can hold for (what I think is) a long distance before it snaps on itself. The tape is yellow, wide and easy to read. The retraction speed isn't insanely fast, but not super slow, pretty in the middle speed wise.

Every tool kit must have this. Good quality and convenient!!!

Last year my 25-ft tape died after many years of use. The replacement didn't even last a year. This one feels like it will last many years of use. I like the locking mechanism. The markings are easy to read. Well worth the cost.

The item does what the tin says. It is small, it is portable, and it measures stuff. Very good item for the use I put it through. Has survived small drops out of pocket. Measuring desks and spaces between things? Great. Measuring household furniture to get moved and placed? Great. Build a house? Do not know, and will not be testing. Very happy with it so far.

I really like the ease of use of this tape measure. It provides quick visual markings whether it’s 7/8 or 3/8 no more counting lines. Has clear foot markings and inches for quick measure and reference points. I also like the fact it locks as you roll it out and easily unlocks to roll back in. Super handy when measuring a long piece of wood or a wall for baseboards etc. Will it last? is the only question but feels solid and am hoping for the best.
