I liked the fact that there were two of the presses, so I could use one, and still have a clean one to use while the other sat in the dishwasher (if I wanted to make more the next day). Having two on hand also meant that my family could help make some if we needed to increase quantities for guests. These were sturdy, and easy to use, and clean. I’d seen other listed that looked to be made of thinner material. The internal diameter is pretty much all the same since they are meant to be the shape of the SPAM cans, so having a thicker OD didn’t matter. Just having it thicker meant that I would likely be getting a sturdier product, and that’s part of my decision making process. I’m glad that I was right. The sturdier material also made pressing the rice in the press easier and form pressure could be applied easily. I’d order a second set from the same seller/manufacturer if I ever need more than 2 presses.

Very simple to use, clean, and churn out perfect musubi with. Perfect size and you can always choose how thick you want your musubi to be.

They are OK for making small musubi and kinda easy to clean, but they are open on the top and bottom so storage isn't easy. But my care giver says they are easy to use, easier than forming the rice by hand. Dishwasher safe on the top rack (I don't use the drying function in the dishwasher)

This. Is. My. New. Favorite. Spam Musubi maker. I have used acrylic frames in the past but this is so much easier to use! I can finish up more spam musubis for friends and families in a shorter time frame, and the rice doesn't stick onto the frame! This is a huge plus because there are times that the rice gets stuck and the process gets impeded... 5/5 stars in my book, and my friends here in Boston are flabbergasted by this amazing and unique dish!

Definitely was NOT made of cheap plastic, at least, it didn’t feel like it. This was my first time EVER making Spam Musubi, let alone ANY kind of sushi, and I am very pleased with the results. Definitely a great find for beginners, and worth the extra dollar or so compared to others I looked at. It’s also as easy as setting in the top rack of your dishwasher to clean! Just make sure you secure the plunger parts down so they don’t fly off the rack during washing. I used a pair of tongs laying across them and that was fine.

Product arrived on time and has made making musubis so much easier and looking professional. Got hooked on Spam musubis while visiting Hawaii so decided to try making some after returning home. Without the the musubi press, my attempts tasted good but didn't look so good. With the musubi maker, my musubis not only taste great, but now look very professional. The presses clean up easily. Love Spam Musubi since I lived in Hawaii. Only 1 food truck here has it, and there sauce is rubbish. So naturally, I started learning to make them. I mastered my sauce, but my efforts were not easy to eat and FUGLY! I just couldn't make it pretty and it made me sad. On a whim, I bought this. I tempered my expectations. I had a low, medium, and high range of expectations. My high range is it would work and look perfect, but it would take practice to make these forms work as I wanted. I was so surprised. It was perfect and easy, first try (pictures above). It's absolutely amazing. Buy these!!!!!!!!!!
