Transformers Age of Extinction Lockdown One-Step Changer

This thing is simple, does virtually nothing, and still manages to be awesome. I couldn't stop fiddling with this thing for days after getting it, and I had originally intended it to just sit on a shelf.It transforms with the simplicity of clicking a ball-point-pen, and is just as satisfying. I found myself clicking it back and forth between car and robot mode absentmindedly while watching TV on multiple occasions. I would imagine a child having a lot of fun with this.

This was my almost 3 year old's first transformer. I only picked this one because I got it cheap from Warehouse Deals. Reviews are correct that the one click button does not return the transformer to the car state. However, it is an easy fix. Simply press the button with your thumb (fingers on the transformer abdomen). Slide your thumb towards the hood. Once the thumb is off the button, release. Bam. Car again. Took me too much time to figure that out, but feel free to enjoy this toy now!

These are great for little guys what want to have real transformers without the tough moves. They are very simple to convert from robot to animal. My 4 year old can't put it down. I would say any older and they might not enjoy it. I would highly recommend though.

I have bought other transformers, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, with the 1-step transform. Both are easy to maneuver. One push to transform to a robot and one push to transform to a car/truck. But this one is so difficult to transform back into a car. I don't know if I got a defective one or they are all like this. All I know is that it will not transform back into a car without messing with it for a couple minutes which defeats the purpose of buy a 1-step transform.

We have lots of transformers 1 step changers, and this one is not my favorite. It's tricky to lock it into car mode, you have to have everything lined up just right and then squeeze it a certain way so that the doors catch and hold it in place. I almost always have to help my son with it, and he's no slouch in the transforming department.

Its very good but we have a problem transforming him actually... The one touch seems not working properly and getting him to car mode need alot of pushing to the side tobget everything connected

The coolest, in terms of car modes, of all the one-step changers. Lambo FTW! As a robot, though, he suffers from zero articulation and is not particularly visually appealing...then again, all of them are like that.

Bought as a gift and it was just as expected. Great transformers toy and it is not too hard to transform, which is a plus for my son. One button and it is all set. It is, however, on the smaller size. I did expect it to be a tad bit bigger.
