We bought a second one because we mounted to deck in elements and the new one is now under porch not mounted. The only problem with not mounting is my husband works for power company and can really man handle the unmounted causing it to break faster. **Q: What are the dimensions of this item?** A: It is 9 inch wide, six inches deep and 4.5 inches high. With the "flap" down, it is 13.5 inches wide. **Q: What is the dimension between the brushes?
