Best alternative ever
If you live cream cheese but can't have dairy this is a perfect replacement. I was skeptical at first that it would taste like coconut, but it does NOT. The taste is almost indistinguishable from cream cheese. The only thing is it melts fast. So if you have a toasted bagel let it cool slightly before you spread it on. I have also cooked with it on things that only require a little cream cheese since it is so small. I cannot tell the difference. This is a great product and should be more readily available.

Best cream cheese substitute!
AMAZING! Hubby who loves cream cheese loves this. I love it and also love cream cheese, but hurts my stomach at times. I don't like milk, so this is better. Im vegetarian. I've tried so many brands and all are horrible but this one. If I had cream cheese next to me, I would still choose this. Wish they had some flavors to choose from too, but this plain one is incredible!

Surprised how good it is
Iโd never tried nondairy cream cheese before so didnโt know what to expect. All I was looking for was it to bring some creaminess to my salmon spread but was surprised to find this actually tastes good by itself. It has a nice creamy texture like regular tub cream cheese with an overall fresh taste. While it's not Philly, I like it better than Trader Joeโs regular full dairy cream cheese. I even saved some for breakfast the next day. I didnโt try it on anything toasted or in anything cooked so I donโt know how it handles heat but it was good at room temp and perfect in my salmon spreadโeven the dairy-eaters loved it. Makes me want to find a bagel recipe I can eat just to get this againโฆuh oh!

My favorite!
This is, by far, my favorite non-dairy cream cheese. I have never been a fan of dairy cream cheese unless it was in a dip or cheesecake. I could not eat it as a plain spread. But this, I can eat directly from the container! Now that I'm plant based, I've tried several brands of non-dairy cream cheese. Most are pretty good. But I love Violife's version. It's creamy and buttery and spreads nicely. It does melt if you apply to a warm product, but I have no problem waiting for my toast or bagel to cool a bit before I spread it. It's a little sweeter than dairy cream cheese, but it's got a nice tang that works for me, too. Love it!

Pricey, even at discount drop to $4.11. (I won't purchase when it gets up around $5.00)
When I pay over $4.00 for 7 1/2 oz (and that's discounted) I find that I like the great taste, but not the price....
