It has an anti slip bottom. It's very easy to clean. I recommend to clean it when you come home especially if you are drinking a drink with milk as it can get a funny smell if left over night, but it washes all away easily not persisting. You have to be careful and only fill until the screw in circles otherwise it is going to spill over when you are trying to screw the lid (happened to me when a barista filled the mug to the top. I have found, however, that the seal on the lid has started leaking within about a dozen uses; even when screwed on with some force it’s leaking when the cup is tilted. It’s only been hand washed since purchased so the seal hasn’t been damaged by putting it in a dishwasher, and there’s no obvious damage to the seal or the rim of the cup.
