This appears to be a good replacement battery for my Craftsman electric screwdriver, which I think is made by Black & Decker and thus identical to some B&D models. It fits perfectly in the screwdriver and the factory charger. It has rejuvenated the old screwdriver, which had been useless for several years with its original batteries. Service was fast and it was delivered in one day. I just received the new batteries, which I hope will not run down when the driver is not in use for a while, a chronic problem with the factory battery.

Gave renewed life to my old Scumbuster & screwdriver whose batteries were no longer keeping a charge. I was concerned about the storage of multiple batteries since they did not come with protective endcaps like the original Black & Decker VP100s. To remedy this, I bought Cosmostar 1" (25.4 mm) Round Black End Caps also from Amazon. ASIN B0D8VXJFGY Problem solved.

When we took over the high school volleyball program, we found an old radar gun used to determine the speed of an object. It didn't work so I ordered new batteries and now it works really well. I charged it for about six hours popped them into the radar gun and it works really well. I can't comment on the longevity on the radar gun vs and actual tool but I used in consistently for about 45 minutes one practice and it worked like a charm. I am really pleased with the purchase.

Have not had a chance to give the batteries a good test but nice to have use of my cordless screwdriver again. When inserted one of the batteries was a little more difficult to remove but the other one was fine.

Effective

My ancient VersaPak Gold batteries would no longer hold a charge. That exiled my beloved B&D ScumBuster to the closet. These Ni-MH Replacement Battery replacement arrived and were charged overnight. Popped them into the SB and lo and behold the unit started operating! I am thrilled I gave these replacement batteries a try. For $20, it was certainly worth the price. Time will tell how long they will last, but if anywhere near the length of time as the original VersaPak batteries, it will be well worth it.

Works great in my old Black & Decker 1/4" driver. I'm glad I kept it and the charger as it is so much easier to manipulate in tight spaces.

I don't usually write reviews, but I was going to buy a second set, saw the reviews, and wanted to add my 2-cents. I bought the first set of these batteries in October of 2019. They have been used in a VP7240 vacuum (best hand-held vac ever made IMHO) around the house for the past three years on a regular basis. They are still working better and longer than the B&D Gold Ni-MH that they replaced. I am now buying a second set not as a replacement for these, but to replace my last dying set of B&D's in another VP7240 we use in our camper. I have never had a "fit" issue with either vacuum or using in my VP130 charger. Don't know what else to say other than buy them - you won't be sorry.
