Great Singapore math curriculum
I got these for my daughter going into 4th grade. We had originally started with kangaroo math which was too hard for my daughter. This is a great bridge to get you to that level and makes learning intuitive with lots of practice problems and review questions.

Great curriculum!
Good math curriculum! We've been using it for a while. I like how straightforward it is, some extra teaching may be necessary outside if textbook help.

Work for students with disabilities
I am using these with my year 2 MYP students. They are 6 years behind. The repetition helps a lot. They enjoy have a textbook because it makes them think that they are in reg Ed classes. Wish there was a teacher’s edition. The students are working hard and beginning to show progress.

No instructions.
Although we like these books as we homeschool, I would recommend them. There is no instructions and is set as random - the problems don't go in any specific order and is kind of repetitive.

The curriculum is fine but I like Righstart Math better.
Our son is dyslexic and attends a school for children experiencing dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia. His school uses this curriculum. He's worked through 4B. The curriculum is spirals concepts in a clear and concise way. There are a lot visuals which are helpful. However, we homeschooled during Covid and used Righstart Math, RSM. There are aspects I like better about Singapore Math, but hands down I prefer RSM. RSM spirals like Singapore, but RSM uses a lot more visual and manipulative tools. The visual and manipulative gives children a VERY strong understanding of what the numbers represent in the physical. For children with learning differences, the manipulatives and visuals are so important. Personally, I think the RSM abacus should be in every house and classroom. Our son never misses carrying a number after first learning to exchange 10 one-blocks cards for a 10-block card, and etc. I was explaining how to approach a basic algebra equation (2n+8=80) that came up in a word problem. I told him the equal sign is like the RSM balance and both sides of the equation have to balance. I then told him what you do to one side, you have to do to the other. He was able to visualize and solve the problem without algebra or further assistance from me. We worked another word problem that had algebra today (F+S=21, 2F=S) and he solved it before I was done reading the problem.
