I bought a hydraulic crimper that had everything you’d need for ay wire size, and then I found this crimper! This is an ideal crimper for ALL terminals up to 10G - one tool, no set up or jaw changes - this crimper is ideal for insulated and bare terminals. What you get out of this crimper is the SAME as a hydraulic crimper, but for all the smaller wire sizes - no squished terminals, just perfectly shaped connections!

Great product made my crimping easy and stronger

This crimper feels well made and gives clean, secure crimps with much less effort than basic crimping tools. The ratcheting action helps keep the results consistent, and the different wire size ranges make it very practical for electrical work. A great tool to have for reliable terminal connections.

Clearly well made - not in the USA - seems Klein Tools joined the many manufacturers going east. The crimper is heavy and a bit awkward to use. Requires very strong and preferably big hands. I don’t have big hands but managed ok for the few crimps I needed done. It does have a “switch” that gets released and ready for the next crimp only when the handles were pressed really hard to finish the crimp. Had I needed to use it all day long or for prolonged periods - it would not have been my choice tool but for occasional usage for someone who appreciates well made tools - i will keep it. I purchased another brand for almost half the cost of this one and it is lighter. It worked fine too - i am keeping both (2 different places).

Chose this tool based on other recommendations on the internet. Wow! Crimps very well, both the wire and its insulation. Crimps tight but still without destroying anything. No comparison with manual crimping by hand, the difference is night and day, and all this for an affordable price for such a good tool.
