Review: Good bio boost - This is the best bio boost I have used in a long time. It keeps the ammonia levels down, it's value for money, has always kept the water nice and clear and the fish have always been happy, so I would say that this is probably one that keeps the ammonia levels among other things down and keeps my fishtank nice and clear. **Q: Do I just put bio boost in the water, or do I have to put it on the filter and if so where?**
A: As long as the filter is doing a good job of circulating the water, “in the water” is enough - please do use the recommended dosage :) and enjoy the fishes :)

**Q: How long do i need to wait after starting treatment with a new aquarium before i can add fish? Also how do i add new fish using this once established?**
A: i was advised to wait 2 weeks for things to settle then add fish in small quantities per week until you reach capacity. Try google for information on fish quantities for the size of tank.
Important to build things up gradually and not overcrowd the fish. Hope this helps.

**Q: Sorry to be a pain guys i cant find any information and ive started using the bottle. Am i required to perform water changes weekly before fish?**
A: If you have used Bio boost it is to start to build up the necessary bacteria in the water before adding fish, after you add the fish you will then need to start doing water changes.  When you add fish to the water the nitrites in the water increase and that is why you do the water changes more often when you first set up a tank.  Once the filter becomes mature it will have enough bacteria and general weekly water changes of a small amount can then be done.  If you clean the filters, rinse medium in some of the tank water removed and do not wash under the tap as this kills the bacteria and effectively takes you back to when you set the tank up.  If you add some Bio boost to the water being replaced it helps to counteract the effect of the tap water.  Hope this helps.

**Q: When using weekly ,should i be adding enough for the whole tank , or just for the water im changing?**
A: I always do enough for the whole tank when doing a water change. Not just for the amount I am taking out.

This is the best bio boost I have used in a long time. It keeps the ammonia levels down, it's value for money, has always kept the water nice and clear and the fish have always been happy, so I would say that this is probably one that keeps the ammonia levels among other things down and keeps my fishtank nice and clear. I have tried others but I am now happy with this product.
