I store all my works on paper in these boxes. I have been using this brand of archival boxes for over 20 years. Sturdy and well made. Recommend!

As advertised. These are well-constructed, museum quality cardboard archival storage boxes. Not flimsy, very sturdy. I have several of these that I frequently open to either review or add new items. Not only a good performer, but these are easily stackable given uniform design, heavy-grade cardboard and metal corners. The only knock: a mild odor associated with the protective chemicals used when the box used. But it dissipates after 2-3 weeks. Highly recommend.

I use these archival boxes to store inkjet photo prints with acid free tissue sheets between the prints. The difference with this box compared to the clamshell design is this box opens on the side. That makes it easier for me to get to what is inside. So what goes in this type of box are the prints I need to get to more often. But either of these type of boxes are what you need to preserve such things as photos or documents, etc. in an acid-free, lignin-free archival container so these things won't yellow. The box is well made with metal edges. Should hold up.

It does hold what I need it to, including cards, letters, postcards, programs. I bought 9x12, FYI. One is holding a frame but it's still sturdy and collapsing from the extra weight. Two of the corners of the bottom are not reinforced; this might be for flexibility and to slide things in? It's an odd choice which makes it a little harder to close the box though. All in all, a pricey but good choice and I'll update this if things change.

Correct size and shipped fast

Make sure you know that one end opens--you don't have a defective box. It's supposed to be for ease to get art work in/out. I haven't decided if I like that yet. If you're moving, you may want to tape it.

What can i say about this box that others haven't already said? Rectangular, black, well-constructed of stiff and archivally safe cardboard, it serves its single purpose with distinction. It is a box. It does what a box ought to do.

Very good, but expensive. I which it was more affordable so I could buy more!
