My Dell Latitude needs the 0G74G style, which I found by opening up my laptop and checking part numbers. You want to do that every time you want to order a battery because Dell (and others) will repeat computer model numbers, and sometimes the same model number will take a different battery. After verifying battery number and shape, I ordered this battery. Another reviewer mentioned getting no pry tool and screwdrivers, but I got what is pictured in the Amazon listing, plus two more screwdriver sizes in the box. So I got a total of one pry pick (medium/hard guitar pics can work too BTW) and four screwdrivers. The listing's instructions are a good guide, however I had an additional place at the base of the battery where a the cable that goes to the motherboard needed to be disconnected, and routed through slots in the new battery. Not a big deal once you have it open and you see what you have. This battery was sized correctly and everything worked and took a full charge fine once I had the laptop buttoned up. Replaced battery in daughter’s HP laptop. Tools helped because some of screws were Phillips some were torx. Got perfectly and did not have to calibrate. Worked from the get-go after solid charge. Way cheaper than HP named replacement.

Be prepared to take your whole laptop apart to replace this battery. I found a youtube video that was a big help, but the process is not for the timid. Some experience with taking apart and reassembling computers is helpful. I got it done with only one issue that came out OK in the end. The issue was related to the wifi antenna leads. The process requires that you remove the antenna leads from the wifi card. The video I found did not tell me that those leads had to be removed, otherwise they would be pulled off by the disassembly. I ended up damaging one of the connectors. I taped it in place and it seems to be working fine. All of this has nothing to do with the quality of the battery which is fine. It also fits like the original. The only caution is to remember that replacing the battery is not like the old days when you could just unplug the old battery and plug the new one in.

I have a Dell 7486 Chromebook, my original battery failed this week at only 2 yrs old. The battery I just purchased from Amazon works perfectly!!! I hope it lasts more than 2 yrs.

The battery in my Dell Precision wasn't holding a charge for long due to many full drains and recharges! This battery was reasonably priced, and a perfect match as listed and the same build quality as the original battery. This battery also weighed about the same as the original battery. If a replacement battery is noticeably lighter, it won't usually hold the same charge as the original. I've not purchased this brand before, but so far it has been an excellent replacement battery that has been superior to my original Dell battery. Many Dell laptops have a standard and an optional higher capacity (long life) battery with a higher Wh rating which is longer, and takes up the space where a 3.5" SATA drive would normally be. Laptops with M.2 SSD's don't need that SATA drive. So they will often have this larger capacity battery in them. So be sure to open your laptop first to see the exact battery you have so you get the right one. I had the longer 97Wh battery in mine. This replacement battery was visually identical, and everything lined up so it was very easy to replace the battery. I already had precision screwdrivers, but not everyone does. So including screwdrivers is always a plus! On boot there were no warning messages, and in Windows 11 the battery reported normal and charging. Once fully charged, real-time battery life has exceeded the original Dell battery which was great to see. Through a few weeks of use, it has performed well. This is a quality battery replacement for your Dell!

This replacement laptop battery for various Dell systems is nice. It comes with the tools you need to help open your laptop in case you don't have them already, and is a 1:1 fit for the replacement battery. Charges well and seems to work fine so far. My one complaint is that the battery doesn't come with the cable that goes between the battery and the motherboard. Sometimes it turns out your battery is ok and the wire is bad, and it would be fantastic if this came with that. Unfortunately, no dice. Only bad mark I can put against it. Otherwise, seems to work well! If you aren't worried about the connector cable coming with, this seems like a great purchase!

Got this battery for my Chromebook, originally I was supposed to get this battery Friday and I got it this afternoon. Willing to do business again.
