I was so happy to find this on Amazon, it's hard to get and even EVGA takes forever to get them "in stock". Worth the money, I've used it on an Asus P6X58D-E and it's now in my Gigabyte G1.Assassin. It helps keep steady power to the PCI bus

I have 3x 3080's on one motherboard for mining because I didn't feel like using risers and the PCIe power draw fried two pins on the ATX connector to my old motherboard. Ruined the motherboard and cable, had to get new ones. I'm using this to provide extra power over the PCIe bus and it works great, the wires on the ATX cable aren't hot any more and everything is working perfectly.

I thought that this item was essential for overclocking stuff but instead of that it just make your system a bit more stable. If you have a expensive graphic card this thing will be useful everytime you increase the frecuencies and of course the voltajes (especially the GPU one). Easy to install, just be careful to not break any capacitors in the process.

I really like this simple product. I have actually noticed improve boot speeds and rock steady performance with my EVGA GTX780 ACX video card. I would suggest that if you have a high quality video card ~ above a GTX 760, you should purchase this. Installation is so simple it is scary - you think "did I actually do this correctly?" Happy gaming.

Made iot so I can run an overclocked i7-3770k and SLI GTX 780's with a single Corsair TX 750. Most would say I needed at least 850w but with this giving the extra consistency directly to the PCI I no longfer have any issues with the game dropping when fully taxed GPU's. A must if you Crossfire or SLI in my opinion.

I bought this as an experiment. Even EVGA's website says it won't cause issues, it does. I used this on an EVGA motherboard with EVGA graphics cards and with this connected, windows won't recognize my #2 graphics card. Move it to another PCIE slot and I get BSOD after POST. Not worth it. Sorry EVGA, I'm a fan of your other products but this thing... Makes a good key chain.

My old i7-860 used to crash a lot when I upgraded my graphics card to an overclocked AMD RX 460 (which doesn't use a 6-pin power connector), and several times even failed to POST. After installing this, I haven't had those issues. BTW, fixing the POST issues required resetting the CMOS.

Do not buy. It is not ATX-compliant, has no over current or reverse current protection, and will easily smoke your PCI-E slot if anything goes wrong. Since it is not ATX-compliant, it will be your fault for using it, and you will have no warranty to fall back on. It doesn't even have an advertised power rating or any protection if you exceed the non-advertised rating. This thing is a bad joke.

Lo compre mas que nada para quitarme la duda de una tarjeta 1080 GTX me detectaba que había sido desconectada de una motherboard que tiene PCI Express 2.0, no se soluciono con esto, al parecer es la incompatibilidad del puerto.

Had my PCIe slot voltage go down to 11.4V for my 3090 FTW3, and now it does not go below 11.7V :). It also helps a little for overclocking & power limited situations.

It cured a trouble i had with a power hungry radeon 290 on a old Asus P6D-SE. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It's a little pricey, however, it does wonder on a old but still working system and it sure as hell cost less then a mobo/ram/cpu combo.
