Can I use it on dry floors instead of sweeping? I already bought a kind for mopping but with that kind i have to sweep first...

Yes! These pads have a unique looping technology that picks up lots of dust and hair! They can be used wet OR dry to sweep and mop :)

Do these adhere like the Swiffer wetjet pads? Just lay them on or are they strapped on?

They Adhere the same as the swiffer wet jet pads. Simply press the pad onto the end of the wet jet and you are good to go!

What liquid wood floor cleaner is being used with these? My old cheap cleaning pads had some cleaning solution on them already. What works best?

Any floor cleaner will work with the pads. It's a personal preference and depends on the type of flooring you have. We have noticed that our customers do often purchase the pads with the Bona Hardwood & the Bona Stone, Tile, and Laminate cleaner. I hope that helps!

Are these safe for all floor types?

The pad is just cloth. Need to look at the cleaner you use. Swiffer makes one for wood floors.
