I had two people tell me that whatever I paid for that dress, it was worth it. I ordered a 50 which translates to a real woman size of about a women's 20. The bodice fits very snug - and a hint, if you have a c cup or above, hold your bust above the lace while someone zips you up and then tuck your bust back in for modesty after you are zipped. I didn't figure this out the first time, but when I put it on the second time, did this, and it was markedly easier to put on. If you have curvy hips, you'll be fine, the skirt is super-full and twirls beautifully while doing the polka and Fliegerlied. The top can be worn modestly or brazenly and the fabric was very light and comfortable. I gave 4 stars ONLY because the waist fit about 3 inches above my waist and that was a bit bothersome and there are no pockets. However, I believe that the chest size was meant for a size A cup as there is no way it was going to zip with my size D. The dress itself is extremely well made and is very cute on. Don't hesitate to order it!! But just know, if your cup size is anything bigger than A, order the next size up. I am headed to Oktoberfest in Munich this month so am so excited to show off my assets while there :) I've reordered in a 42 and feel it should fit just right! I was concerned about spending too much on a product that may not even fit, but really didn't want the sleazy costume store version.... after searching dozens of etsy, ebay and costume stores, there seemed to be no mid range, decent quality options. I did see 'dirndl.com', whom manufactures this product, but the website was all in German thus a bit hard to read. Although I was hoping to spend a little less, I must say when my dirndl arrived this morning (2 day shipping), I was thrilled to find a perfect fit, and great quality! If you're celebrating Oktoberfest and want an authentic, beautiful yet classy dirndl, I highly recommend this one.
