Metra 99-7954 Single/Double DIN Installation Kit for 2007 Suzuki SX4 Vehicles

This is the 2nd one I've bought. They are great quality. They work and fit perfectly. I've tried them with single din and double din and they are both great.

Nice radio kit for the SX4, even for head units that aren't "standard size". All the holes line up where they should, the metal trim fits nicely, and the panel gaps are about 95% of OEM figment. It is made from softer plastic, so you'll need to be carful not to scratch it during installation. My one criticism is the clips/brackets that retain the head unit. They do not have enough tension, making the head unit pop out far too easily. You can heat the tabs and push them out for more tension, or throw some hot glue on the seams to hold the head unit in. I did both. Also, the mounting bolts are not included. So make sure you can get to a hardware store to pick some up. Overall, good piece of kit.

The fit was perfect. Just keep in mind that if you're looking to get one of those Chinese Android radios, those radios are at least sometimes not a standard 2 DIN size. It is not the fault of Metra, but the radios. I was able to make this faceplate fit, and look nice, but it required glue to get the job done.

Got this thing like a week late, but it was worth it. one thing everyone should know about the sx4- the radio is mounted in a cradle that has rubber insulators to keep it from rattling, I advise if you get this kit, to install a double din stereo in the vehicle. Single din is horrible if you don't use the metal mounting sleeve that came with your single din unit. I hard mounted my kenwwood so that it wouldn't use the horrible trim ring that comes with this kit. Will include pics. Oh yeah, and if you have the nav system, there are special things to do with the wiring, and you need a head unit that does steering wheel controls with a swi jack, that is my next purchase!!

This mounting kit fit my 2011 Suzuki SX4 perfectly. No gaps, easy install. Just what a kit should do.

Everything fits perfectly, and it looks just like factory. This is my second purchase from them, and it's got to be the best kit going!

As described, slight cosmetic damage as returned. Straight forward to work with and solid. Kept working the fitment but would not sit flush on all sides which is why only 4 stars.

This did the job. Allowed me to add a double DIN radio but still retaining a somewhat factory look. For the price I am happy with the look.

It had everything in the kit I needed to install my stereo into my vehicle.
