A must have for any Catholic

Beautiful to look at and a joy to use. Not just a missal but with much devotional and catechitical content as well. Most importantly for me the English translation is beautiful not the usual crude simplistic language devoid of any poetic sense or reverence that degrades the Modernist Liturgy. I cannot commend this Missal with more enthusiasm, it is a joy to own a real treasure.

Very Good book. I really enjoy reading this book so much more depth than the usual vatican 2 missals.

Beautifully produced, and ideal as a companion for the Traditional Mass. The Latin/English layout is perfectly set out and easy to follow. The coloured ribbons are very strong and wear well. Worth getting a zip missal cover to protect the book, which I recommend highly.

As Tridentine Mass is not widely available in India (except for SSPX seminaries in the South), I purchased this to use as a guide for online Masses during lockdown. I have been using this for the Masses that I follow on Youtube from ICKSP/FSSP channels. It also helped me quite a bit in learning some basic Bible verses in Latin as well as some of the hymns and prayers in Latin. The Holy Week is not pre-1955 and that is one complaint that I have. For pre-1955 Holy Week you need to get a St. Andrew's Missal imported directly from U.S. as it is not available anywhere here in Amazon India. Overall it is very useful and has helped me deeply in my spiritual life. We only hope that Tridentine masses will increase in the coming years in India.

For all my life I was an atheist, and within the last two years I found Christ and I am joined with the faithful. Glory to God! :) For context, I am writing this review as a discerning Catholic who has recently begun attending the Traditional Latin Mass at an FSSP parish. The Angelus Press 1962 Roman Catholic Missal seemed to be the most prevalent missal used by the laity at my parish, so I went ahead with ordering my own so start learning and following along with the Mass. Absolutely one of the best purchases I've made. The Angelus Press missal is beautiful, well laid out and contains so much information in it. Crucially, the book contains both english and latin translations of each step and motion of the mass, with some explanations. Also very valuable are the essential prayers to learn for Catholics, the calendar of movable feasts, and pages dedicated to the various saintly feasts and other recognizable events. The outer covering of the book is black imitation leather, but is very sturdy. The binding is very good, probably the best and surpasses the equally good Baronius missal. Five colored ribbons are provided in the missal, which are more than adequate for marking the important spots for the mass or other sections you might find relevant. The ribbons themselves are high quality and I recommend tying knots on the ends of them to prevent fraying and keep them looking nice. The gilding on the page edges is very nice and I suspect will hold up better to constant use than some other missals. The pages themselves are thin and crisp. Printing is large enough to be easily legible during Mass, even for a relatively small book. Text is printed in black, with red text used for describing specific motions of the priests and servers during the Mass, or for providing context. There aren't that many illustrations in the book, which I have no issue with. Overall this is a fantastic missal, probably THE missal to use for attending the TLM. Very sturdy layout and binding that I'm sure will last a very, very long time. Beautiful and easy to hold book to use during the Mass, and a pleasure to read at home when learning about the Saints, feasts or various traditional prayers. The Angelus Press missal is a solid investment, one you only need to purchase once and you can likely use it for a lifetime.

Este misal lo compré latin-ingles porque no había conseguido latin-español. Es muy bonito y contiene misal, oraciones y otros apartados. Me sirve para aprender el misal en inglés también.
