Having been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, and after having two chemo sessions my hair is disappearing rapidly. Ordered this set as I was fed up getting my face covered with hair whilst sleeping. All three were of similar size, rather tight on the ears due to the 1 inch or so lip that goes over the ears. Not the best of stitching, and the pink one was missing stitching for about two inches which meant the satin lining wasn’t attached to the actual cap. Couldn’t be bothered to return as I wanted to use straightaway. They do the job and because of the silk lining, the hair doesn’t stick to the internal side of the cap, like some do.

I use these hats exclusively for sleeping. They're not too thick and I haven't had any issues with feeling too warm with them yet. They keep my hair contained nicely, with room to spare (for reference, thin straight hair that goes a good bit past the shoulders). I will say though that it does NOT look good in terms of a beanie. The slouch doesn't really work. These things are really not attractive at all if you put your hair in them completely. That doesn't bother me since I only need them for sleeping, but if you're looking to "look good" I wouldn't recommend these. The only really negative thing I can say is that they are pretty tight. I'd like to think I have an average sized head for an adult woman, and they do feel very tight the first time. Eventually, with enough use, I have noticed that they do loosen a bit and now I'm very happy with them. Contains my hair but isn't too loose so it comes off during the night like other night caps I've tried. Everything stays in place. TIP: the first nights I put all my hair in the hat, put it on, and then actually pulled it OVER my ears and eyes. Like this, the hat feels looser and has a chance of loosening up enough to wear comfortably on your head like you're supposed to.

Comfortable to sleep in but needs an eye mask or something to keep them in place if you are likely to move around much in the night as I do- this is not a negative though as if the band was tighter then it would likely leave a mark around the head or be uncomfortable so I am very happy with the fit of this and it keeps my hair from rubbing on the pillow or leaving grease on the pillow in between hair washes that could go on to my face.

Although they are advertised as sleep wear, the listing does say that they can be worn during the day (who would have guessed?) I bought to wear during the day. Having lost my hair to medical treatment, I need to keep the bonce warm. I found that after an hour, they felt really tight around my ears, especially when I had my glasses on. Such a shame that I can’t wear them as they are nicely made & are nice & soft which when you have just lost your long hair, you need something soft on.

I purchased these because I have frizzy hair that looks crazy when I get up in the morning, I was told if I wore silk lined night cap it would help control the frizz. These are very comfortable to wear for sleep, I hardly can tell I have it on. No tight elastic or pressure around my head. My hair fits in with plenty of room to spare. When I take it off in the morning, no big frizz head. I spritz on a little water and my curls are tame.
