how long do the filters last ?

Our fan spends most of the summer months on all the time.the original filters lasted at least 2 to 3 years. I got non brand replacements from amazon on 6 Jan this year and they are still going strong, but as I have only had the filters for 5 months I can’t really say if these filters are as good as the original ones yet.

Is this made by Dyson?

In the note section it says "This is not a Dyson original product..."
