The Elite SUITO Smart Trainer is an excellent choice for anyone looking to take their indoor cycling experience to the next level. It’s incredibly easy to set up and connect to apps like Zwift, TrainerRoad, and others, thanks to the ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity. The realistic road feel is outstanding, especially when paired with simulation apps it really feels like you're riding outdoors. Performance: The interactive resistance is spot-on, adjusting smoothly with changes in grade or effort, and the power accuracy (±2.5%) is impressive for a mid-range trainer. It handles high efforts with ease, and the noise level is relatively low, even during hard sprints. Design & Setup: Setup was a breeze. The trainer comes pre-assembled, and the easy-to-use cassette makes it simple to switch out for different bike setups. The frame is sturdy and stable, even during intense efforts, and the compact design makes it easy to store when not in use. First, about that price. There appears to be some--and let me call it what it is--dishonesty regarding the advertised list price of $1119.99 marked down to $799.99. This is the only site on which I've seen a price over $800. And I've researched this product extensively before. Even European users pay around $800 after the currency conversion. I'm sure the intent is to make the buyer feel that they're getting a great deal (and they are), but this sales pitch sounds like something I'd hear at a used car lot. That said, the trainer stands on its own merits. I like the fact that it came with a cassette, and my carbon bike with a compatible drive train had no issues being mounted on the trainer. I paired it via Bluetooth to my online structured training plan and have had dozens of flawless hours in the saddle. Is it noisy? Not really; if you train with a fan, your fan will be louder than the trainer. No fan? Your drivetrain will be louder than the trainer. If you're an amateur cyclist the Suito gives you everything needed to maintain or improve your fitness at a price point that's at least $100 less than a comparable competitor. There are more expensive trainers with very nice performance, but at $200-400 more it's my opinion that the amateur cyclist won't get a return on his investment (relative the Suito). Edit: early model Suito had issues with knocking flywheels. I have one of the new models and have had no problems.

This trainer works well but it does not shift gears properly. I measured and found the distance from the rear dropout to the closest cog tooth was smaller than on the bike. So I added shims to the spacers to match it within 0.1 mm to the same measurement with the wheel on the bike. Even so, the rear doesn't shift properly and no amount of adjustment fixes it. The reason is the rear cog that comes with this is made by "MicroShift" not Shimano, and Microshift does not have the same tooth ramps and profiles as a Shimano cog. Consequently, the shifting action is quite poor. The trainer works fine, so save your money, get the version without the included cog, and buy a true Shimano cog separately.

I have been using a magnetic trainer for the past two years to ride my bike indoors. I decided to "up my game" and did a bunch of research into smart trainers. I'm still learning how to use this one, but so far I love it. It's a totally different experience than the magnetic trainer. I appreciate how the trainer can mimic going up hills. So far I'm not thrilled with the courses that I can use through myETraining - the videos are jumpy and I still haven't figured out how to utilize some of the programs. I also haven't signed up for Zwift, so I'm not sure how this trainer will preform on that platform. The great parts about this trainer; you can use it straight out of the box, I don't feel like I'm going to fall over, I appreciate the hills and realistic feel of the ride. I'm not judging the trainer on my inability to figure out the program(s) that can be parred with it. I watched a couple of YouTube videos to figure out how to set up my bike - it's so basic that I was convinced I was doing something wrong. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase.

A friend recommended the direct trainer and after a few weeks of research I ordered the Suito. I'm couldn't be more pleased. It was literally a snap to put together. (ok, two snaps). My Trek attached with no problems. The unit is very stable and while some reviews state it's a little noisier than others I have no problems hearing my music or TV. If fact you don't really hear much because the fan you're using is louder than the trainer, and yes you need a fan. Came with a month of Zwift, so I'm using that now and the trainer reacts fine with the app. Also did a week of Rouvy, and while there aren't as many organized rides on Rouvy, the trainer does an amazing job with that app. When you hit a nine degree incline you feel it immediately. The trainer also came with a free year of another app which is ok, but not my go to app. The cassette is included and the front wheel holder is also included. Seems they increased the price by $50 in the last two week on Amazon and it is sold out in other locations. While I thinks it's a great trainer for $750, knowing what I know now, I would pay the extra 50 for it.

ORIGINAL 5-STAR REVIEW: This trainer is quiet and works really well with Zwift. It was easy to set up and get started. I have been riding an hour a day, 6 days a week and it is actually fun to ride. I no longer dread trainer rides. I went for a smart trainer over a Peleton/spin bike because it is very compact and easily stores in a coat closet or under a bed. It comes with an 11-speed cluster and I had to swap in a 9-speed cluster to work with my Trek 520. This takes specialized tools or a trip to the bike shop, but is not a big deal and is only a one-time thing. I've had the trainer for 2 weeks now and I'm loving it. UPDATE 1: I dropped my review from 5 stars to 3. I still love the trainer when it works, but I have been having connection issues. I started out using bluetooth to connect the trainer to my MacBook Air computer to ride with Zwift. I had the bluetooth connection drop out on 2 different rides. The only way to get it to reconnect was to remove power from the Suito and then power it back up. Since I was having trouble with the bluetooth connection, I switched to an ANT+ connection. I have now had the trainer drop the ANT+ connection on 2 different rides. Just as for the bluetooth connection drop, the only way I could find to get to the Suito to reconnect was to remove power and then power it back up. I connect my heart rate monitor with ANT+, and that connection did not drop, so I believe the issue is with the Suito trainer. Needless to say, this is very frustrating. I used the Upgrado app and determined that my trainer firmware is up to date, so that is not the issue. I am in the process of trying to get product support for this issue and we'll see how it goes. UPDATE 2: I raised my review from 3 stars to 4. I was able to get support from Elite via their website. I was instructed to perform some tests by doing a ride with their My E-Training app. I did one ride with app and did not get a connection drop, but I was unwilling to ride with their app further because I prefer Zwift and I am in the middle of multi-week training course on Zwift. I decided to return the Suito while I was still in the 30-day return window and I ordered a replacement Suito. I told Elite about my solution and they indicated they would have sent me a replacement electronic board to solve the problem. No thanks to the amateur electronics project. My rating is now 4 stars instead of 3 because I got decent support from Elite and because Amazon's free returns policy is so easy. As an extra bonus, the Suito price dropped ~$90, so I ended up making money on return and re-order! UPDATE 3: I lowered my review from 4 stars to 1. I got the replacement trainer. It makes a thumping/grinding noise my original Suito did not make. The power reading on this trainer is about 35W (15%) lower than on the other Suito. A second defective unit. I'm done with Suito. This one's going back just like the first one and I'm going to buy a Saris H3 smart trainer.

this is supposed to ba a suito. what was packed though as a suito-t and they included an 11 speed cassette. which means you have to install it and you need additional tools for that. also the included spacers may not provide the same alignment as your hub , which means you have to re align the top and bottom of your gear ratio so it will change gear smoothly. so far it's ok. hope it will stay ok

This would have been really easy to set-up if I had an 11 speed vs 10 speed. I needed 3 spacers to get my 10 speed cassette to work well. After getting the cassette issue solved, could not get the device to pair up to my laptop. Okay bought a blue tooth dongle...did not work. Bought an ANT dongle which worked perfectly. Downloaded Zwift and now I am very impressed. So glad I did not return. It is very quite and feels realistic in the climbs. Overall, I am still giving 5 stars even though I had problems setting up!

The Suito works straight out the box on zwift. Connected the Suito to my laptop via ant dongle on average the Suito drops out twice at the beginning of most rides but after that works fine. It’s a little slow detecting acceleration and slowing down but that may be my laptop. I suspect the best set up for the Suito and zwift is on a iPad everything sees to work better with Apple products. The Suito is a zwift approved product and comes with the 1 month free trial voucher and had a 105 cassette already fitted which is great. It’s cheaper than a wahoo core or a tacx neo. The Suito is possibly as good as a wahoo core I don’t know . I recommend this trainer it’s very compact when the legs folded in.The elite app needs improvement
