It washes out a little bit at a time. **Q: Will this work on dyed black hair, not just natural?** A: Yes, but it will take some time, It also depends on how long your hair was dyed black. ALSO: Try to strip it out beforehand (maybe a week or so) with something like Color Oops. The less you need to bleach, the better.
