Is there a grittier texture to this than the older formula? Yes. Does it preform and feel like the same once on your skin? Yes. It is not a bad batch or counterfeit like some people might think. Clearly they have changed the way they mix/make the cream because all of the ingredients are the same. The texture does feel different to the touch, but fine and normal once on your skin. If you have used this cream before, you will definitely feel the texture difference when you touch it, but it's completely the same as the smoother feeling cream and works the same. I was weirded out when I first felt the grittiness, but I kept using it and realized it is fine and the same as before. Also, when I say “grittiness” I don’t mean there is grit in it, it just doesn’t feel as smooth as the older version. I have ordered this multiple times and this clearly is how the cream feels now and I’m fine with it. I have been using this for years and can definitely say this stuff is great, and don’t let the new texture sway you away from buying it.

Very hydrating. Goes on a bit greasy but does absorb. I use on entire body, including face. I wait about 10 min to get dressed. Pricy but a little bit goes a long way. My man loves it for his dry cracked working hands and he’s tried many other products.

I purchased this based on a friends recommendation. The clean, simple ingredients were a huge part of the appeal. I’ve been using for about 2 months before bed on my face. This product has been a great moisturizer to use and I’ve noticed an improvement in the lines on my forehead. There’s no scent and it’s not sticky at all. Glides on easily but some people may not like that it doesn’t absorb immediately. I personally don’t mind and this is why I use it before bed. By morning my skin feels great and it ready for my morning routine without feeling like there’s still excess product on my face. You also only need a small amount. I’ve hardly made a dent it it after 2 months of use.

I’ve been really enjoying this cream since day 1! It’s super moisturizing but still absorbs quickly, which I didn’t expect from a balm-like texture. Once you warm it up between your fingers, it melts into the skin and leaves it soft and comfortable without that heavy, greasy feeling. I mainly use it on dry patches, lips, cuticles, and sometimes as a light face moisturizer, and it works great every time. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts forever. Compared to Aquaphor, Egyptian Magic feels lighter and more skin-care focused. Aquaphor is thicker and more occlusive, which makes it great for very dry or cracked skin, but it can feel heavy for daily use. Egyptian Magic absorbs faster, feels more natural on the skin, and is better for everyday moisturizing, especially if you like simple, natural ingredients.

This is a hidden gem. All natural ingredients. Even brought to my dermatologist. Even he had never seen this. After looking at what’s inside, even my doctor was impressed. AND it’s actually made here in America. However you likely won’t find this at your local store. I stumbled on this at an airport while flying internationally

I had a dry patch on my arm that was always cracked. Not any more. This is thick, gelatinous and perfect to help heal a scar. as for my dry patch, it did not self heal for 3 months, but it was gone in one week, using this cream

I have used this product for many years as an all over body moisturizer. I go through it quickly. It melts, and hydrates the skin incredibly. The last 2 I ordered from Amazon smells like “skunk”. I have no idea why- but I have to mix it with other lotion or spritz with body oil to try and mask the smell. I’m not sure why this is happening, but it’s definitely not normal. When it’s right, this is a 5-star product all the way. But not the last one!

TL;DR buy this cream and you will feel brand new. I just got this 6-8 weeks ago and already need more! I bought this to use on my feet which are frequently very dry and cracked in the heels. I use the Dr Scholl's microfile thing, then I put on a regular body lotion, then use this stuff to seal in the lotion (shout out to Charm for this routine). I need you to understand that dry, cracked feet have been an issue for me since I was a kid because I'm diabetic, so my skin is very dry. This cream has turned my feet into literally the softest, most hydrated looking and feeling feet! It seriously looks like I just got a pedicure EVERY DAY! You also don't need a lot, just a pea size or so amount and then rub it between your palms to 'melt' it and it covers both my size 11 feet! After that I usually just rub the rest into my hand skin, which also are now extra soft and smooth - a thing I have been chasing with lotions, creams, hand masks, for YEARS!! The texture is kind of like a less thick/sticky vaseline, similar to white petroleum from Iran.

Great for winter & super dry skin but not in a humid environment. Too oily & sticky.

As a first trial, I used the cream on my chapped and dry hands. Too greasy and doesn't soften the skin. I'm going back to my previous hand cream. I'm glad I bought a small jar, as, for now, I'm not a fan.
