Band for Polar M400/M430, Soft Adjustable Silicone Replacement Wrist Watch Band for Polar M400/M430 Watch

After almost 6 years, my M400 band broke. I ordered this as a replacement. Good price and quick delivery. Fits perfectly and was pretty easy to put on. I used the tool to push out the old pins and a needle nose pliers to gently push the new pin in. It took some wiggling. Once I got the new pin about half way, I had some trouble getting it through the rest of the way. So, I pushed the tool in from the other side to help line it up. Seems to be a thinner band than the original, but robust enough.

Much better quality than I expected! Super easy install, less than five minutes. Suggest a small tack hammer to lightly tap the two pegs into place. Repeat: lightly. Solid construction, durable material; seems better than the original Polar band. Large strap with multiple sizing options and includes double loops to hold strap in place, and three piece easy to use install kit. Super snug, super comfortable fit! I tried finding replacement bands on Polar.com to no avail. Excellent value!

The band fit the watch well and installation was easy. The band is much shorter than the original and men with larger wrists will not be able to use it. The real problem is poor quality hardware. I wear my watch fairly loose, but after 22 days of use the metal clasp broke and the watch fell off. After 50 years of wearing all types of watches, I've never see the metal clasp of a strap watch break.

This absolutely works. I wasn’t sure if it would fit or if it would be too hard to attach, but it took less than three minutes. It’s too soon to evaluate the durability.

I'm increasing my review from 2 stars to 4. This morning the seller, QGHXO Direct, refunded my purchase price. I did not ask for a refiund and they have not asked me to change my review or to return the band. I'm impressed that they would volunteraily refund my purchase price. It's possible that I just got a defective band and that if I'd asked, they'd have replaced it. The band is excellent other than the gap between the watch and the band. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there shouldn't have been a defective band in the first place and because of the expense and hassle it caused. It's otherwise perfect. My original review: Ugh, what a pain this was! I had replaced the band once before and had no trouble, so I assumed I wouldn't have a problem with this one. Wrong! I bought this because the one I bought before is no longer available on Prime. I should have bought it anyway. I carefull cleaned out all debris from the watch before trying to install this band but despite two days of struggling, I could not get it to install. I finally took t to the top rated local watch repair shop, but they had trouble too! They said that one of the two pieces was made incorrectly. It doesn't sit flush with the watch, as it's supposed to. I ended paying $17 to install it, but for the appearance to be poor because the band iesn't flush with the watch. Very frustrating. I decided not to worry about it because I've owned this Polar for six years and I don't know how much longer it will last, but it's disappointing.

Install was relatively easy, I used a hammer to GENTLY tap the pins in place. Also after reading some other reviews I decided to use the old pins instead. It seems the new pins are microscopically larger, making the install a but of a challenge. While it may not have the exact fit of OEM parts, it's pretty darn close, and roughly one-third the price!

clasp keeps breaking

This was a nice way to rejuvenate my 18 month old Polar 400... my old band was starting to look beat-up. Be warned, however, that it is finicky to get it on. What I finally did was to use small sharp scissors to trim the little bits of rubber on the inside part of the strap left over from where the holes had been drilled for the pin... this kept those tiny bits of rubber from getting in the way of the pin when trying to connect the watch to the strap. I also sprayed the pins with a little bit of silicone lubricant and worked the lubricated pin separately through the pin holes on band, and then the watch, before trying to connect the band to the watch. It helped, but it still took a few minutes of fiddling to connect each half of the band to the watch.

Fits my m430 perfectly, easy to fit, feels really comfortable.

I like this because it is truly Original.

Cuando quise ponerlo en mi reloj polar M430 no podía colocar la correa y pensé que algo andaba mal, pero después se me ocurrió quitar la pieza transparente y fue así como pude colocar la correa en el reloj. El material no es como el original pero se ve que si es resistente , aunque me da la impresión de que es más ancha .
