I was looking for a knee brace/sleeve specifically to provide support while stepping up my running game.I have run on and off over the years but have never been serious about it and one of the reasons is I couldn't go beyond about 3 miles without experiencing excruciating knee pain and being forced to limp home (I eventually learned my IT band was the primary source of this). This year I got serious, signed up for a 15K, and started a regimented training plan. Even with dedicated training I was still struggling with the knee pain.I've now been through about 3 brands of sleeves and this one takes the cake. I am now to the point that if I warm up properly and do some IT band stretches/foam rolls and throw this sucker on I can make 10+ miles without major issues. I successfully completed a half marathon a couple of weeks ago and am continuing my training and considering a full marathon. While a lot of this success has to do with the proper strength training I directly attribute a large portion of my success to this knee brace. I feel like it helped me bridge the gap with my really weak knee. Without it I may have struggled even more, not achieved my goals, and been discouraged from pushing myself to the next level, or even given up.Observations: I have been hand washing occasionally and running 4 times a week for a couple months and it's showing some wear so obviously they don't last forever. It's also not super comfortable for the warm up portion and bunches up a little when stretching and such. Once you get to running though it stays in place feels comfortable. I'm 5'10" at about 163 pounds and the medium fits perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just Right *by M***X on November 15, 2017* This knee brace is very comfortable, the compression of it feels right, and it stays in place. They are relatively inexpensive for the quality of the product. The inside of the top edge is coated with 2 strips of a rubbery material to keep the brace from sliding down your leg which works great. However, after only 2 uses (about 6hrs total time) the rubber strips seem to be coming off, maybe I just got a defective brace?TL;DR- Compression: Excellent- Support: Good- Looks: Good- Ventilation: Excellent- Rubber Grips: Good, though it doesn't look like they will last. (see edit)- Price: GoodI would recommend this product; I am actually ordering a second one for my other knee, I just hope the rubber grips don't fall off of that one, too.EDIT: So I filled up a survey these guys sent me and I mentioned the rubber thing, not even requesting a return or anything. To my surprised Ultra Flex sent me a replacement free of charge. I value customer support as highly as quality of product, and it is evident these guys take pride on their products and value costumer satisfaction. I had already given them 5 stars as I really liked the brace so I have no more stars to give, but you guys have 6 stars on my book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful all the way around! *by A***7 on November 8, 2017* I'm a pretty avid runner, but I've had knee issues since I was a kid. I've been down and out the last month due to knee pain. I decided to get a stronger compression knee brace. Read a lot of reviews and chose this one.Came quickly, tried it, (and I did follow the measuring guidelines before purchasing). It was super tight on my thigh (big thighs for the win), and perfct everywhere else. (Medium brace). Unfortunately the tightness was too much and extremely uncomfortable. So I ordered a large to see. With the large I was comfortable on my thigh and loose on mt knee! After some adjusting I made the medium work for me. Went on a 2 mile test run and my knee was great!What was better was this company's customer service! I let them know the trouble I had and he refunded my money for the large and let me keep it!
