Great inexpensive replacement!
This was so much BETTER than the dealership. They make a scan tool called Autel or Hyper Tough 200 for $50. You can program any make and model with so for $60 your way better off than the min $150 a dealership will charge you. And this key is good quality.

My chosen locksmith would not guarantee their work if I use this key.
My chosen locksmith would not guarantee their work if I use this key. First, I had to go to my local dealership and verify my ownership of the vehicle before they gave me the code so I can make a replacement key. Even though this code was free, I still needed to visit the dealer. I did not have access to locksmiths in the area who is willing to cut this key even for cash. Even though I say, it's on me if it does not work. They just would not do it. I guess if I lived somewhere else, perhaps some other locksmiths will do it. Forget the car dealership, they will not touch this either. Since I can't return this, someday, I may have use for it, even for just emergency valet key or something.

Perfect for 2005 Honda Element
Cut the key myself, programmed it myself. First try didn't quite work (my lack of experience), but second came out perfect! Opens all doors and glovebox; starts and runs car!

Always read the reviews carefully before purchasing an item.
I was very confuse about this item; thinking that it was the key to use for my vehicle I bought it. And after I found out it wasn't and try to return it, the return policy says that I'll have to have to keep something I won't be able to use. What a disappointment!

People who leave a bad review for this do not understand the use of this; it's a key that CAN'T be cloned! (cut at a hardware store)..it needs to be taken to a locksmith, with your car and registration in, and a special tool is used for programming.
