She was able to lift up from the bottom to pop the tart out of the pan and then we attempted to slide the tart off onto a serving platter, that didn't work so good and before it crumbled we put it back on and served it off of the bottom. Overall cleanup was a breeze, nothing and I mean nothing stuck to this pan. Literally just used a papertowel to wipe it clean. I did run it through the dishwasher as well but that was overkill. Great pan, works well and seems to be pretty tough.
