The line is GREAT if using for open-faced reels. Unfortunately I loaded my new spool of line into 5 reels before heading off to our fishing trip. NONE of the reels would cast with this line in it. I replaced all of the line with monofilament and they casted just fine.

Nice, quality braided line for my new spinning reel. Of course, for best results, use a monofilament backer before spooling the braided line.

This is my first experience with braided line (always had used mono-filament), and all I can say is: what the heck took me so long to change? 8# line that has the same diameter as 2# line, and has very little memory. It is very smooth, comes off my spinning reel very nicely, and as a result, my casts are at least 30% farther with the same equipment. No more tangles from the memory of the line. Extremely tough. I love this stuff!

I spooled this on a spinning reel. I have used all types of line including many different manufacturers of braided line. This is the nicest casting line I’ve ever used. Easily casting 3/8 oz crank baits 30-35 yards. No looping, falling off the spool or knotting up like some of the other micro braids do. The camo line virtually disappears in the water and with its small diameter, I don’t think it affects the fish too much. Caught 5 fish and is easy to tell if it’s a fish, weed or tree. Was hung up a few times and the line is definitely strong. With only using the 6lb line, I will be going to 10 or 15 pound the next time I purchase.

Definitely worth to buy definitely. Meets the goals it has.. It's as strong as it says it is.. And yes I use it for my necklaces to tie them up when they break especially the real ones that are expensive.. Like my $300 chains.. And on top of tying up necklaces and keeping them stagnant. It also works for good thick fishing line. Totally worth buy. Wish we could find the second part of we bought two of these so we wish we could find the second one. We need more..
