I bought this as a birthday present for my girlfriend’s mother. I’m sure it’s great for its intended use. The smoker appears to handle organic matter very well. My girlfriend‘s mom likes to put pancakes on a sheet tinfoil and roast berries so the smoke infuses the pancakes with the berry flavor. None of the smoke appears to be wasted which she loves.

Great for smoked old fashions. A little awkward to hold the glass cover on - need one hand on that and one on the smoker to keep it from tipping. But it works great. Smoke gum residue can stop up the fan blades after some usage and it’s not easy to clean that part. But for the price I’m happy.

I recently purchased (August 27, 2024) the TMKEFFC Smoking Gun Portable Smoker on AMZON and used it three times. it worked great, however I could not get it to work on the 4th try. I cleaned out the soot and clean-out out the screen. No matter what I did, I was unable to get the smoke to travel down the tube. Please advise or replace ASAP. Thank you. I am trying to use the warranty - but the seller's phone number does not work on the site and they do NOT respond to e-mails? - Within 1 year since the product is sold, if there is a performance problem, the problem should be confirmed by Tmkeffc or related technical testing personnel. Got this for my hubby so he could cold smoke a few goodies for us. This unit is super easy to use. Add your wood chips or dried herbs into the top, light them with a match or lighter, then turn on the fan. Hose section goes into whatever container you are using. If you do not have a lid on the container you are smoking in, you can easily use cling wrap instead. There is a drill bit included in the packaging in case you want to drill a hole into a plastic container dedicated for smoking (which we did and we used the plastic plugs also included - we used a plastic show box with a lid). Hubby used some pellets (hickory and cherry) and smoked cheeses and pecans. They each definitely now have a smoke flavor! We let them sit in the fridge for a couple of days before digging in. On the first use, we discovered you should probably do this outside or near an open window:) Lesson learned! Price point is very good on this. We had looked at others that are closer to $100 and I am guessing they don't do much better of a job than this.

I like this product EXCEPT why in the world would you include such a short hose??? Makes this almost un-useable unless you have 3 hands. The hose is so short that it either bends or pulls the top off of the glass. Why not add 6" to 8" to the hose. As a result I will be going out and buying a longer hose for mine.

Amazed by the small amount of fuel needed to generate large amount of smoke. Perfect for filling a decanter with smoke to pour out a bespoke cocktail.

I have had this smoker a little under 8 months and it does get seldomly used so it's not been under heavy use. Today I went to use the smoker and it was not working so I assumed the batteries were dead which again seemed weird given the light use but I changed them to new ones. Despite the new batteries it still did not work which was a bit of a let down but it was out of warranty so whatever, I bought a new one and moved on. About 20 mins after we had swapped the batteries, the smoker caught fire and one of the batteries popped. If we had not been beside the bar having a party and saw the flames in time to toss it under some water it could have burned the entire house down. Don't buy this

Love this product. It made my food item so smoky in just a few seconds. It is very easy to use.
