You can not fit much inside the storage, It's not deep. Don't buy it for extra storage, which you are not going to get. It's design to make ride a little more comfortable, especially on long rides. Installation was easy, you can find how to do it on YouTube. Only issue I had was, before you lift a hand brake to remove the plastic cover, remove small plastic clip by the root of hand brake. You need to squeeze two clips from inside to take it out. If you are not going to do it, you are risking of cracking that plastic cover during removal. Review: Top Quality, worth the extra price - While I am somewhat disappointed that Honda does not include arm rests in the Fit (something I had assumed was standard in all cars), this product is the absolute best option out there. Sure you can save a few bucks and get the drop-in type, but those things are definitely going to turn into a projectile in an accident. This genuine Honda part bolts in to the existing holes under the center console, and once it is in, you really can't tell that it was an add-on, fits perfect (makes sense, made by the people who made the car). Super-sturdy and a nice solid feel to it. It also has a pocket built in that is perfect for sunglasses or a cell phone that you want to keep out of sight. Flips up if you want it out of your way. Installation wasn't a breeze, but if you can change your oil, you can do this in a half hour to an hour, depending how meticulous you are. Installation Tips: -Be careful not to let the parking brake cable stay bolts slide down under the carpet once you loosen them. I did that and needed to recruit my fiancee's tiny hands to retrieve the one I lost. Got it back, but it took 10 minutes of feeling around under the carpet. -The instructions (available online in paper and youtube format) call for metric drill bits, which I couldn't find at Sears Hardware, Home Depot, or Lowe's. Turns out that its not really important that the holes are exact, you can use US bits that are close to their metric equivalents. The only holes that you might end up seeing are the larger 20mm holes in the outside of the console that get the rubber plugs. This is very worthwhile if you want a center armrest in your Honda Fit. However, for some people like myself the armrest is still too low. (I have a tall torso and shortish arms so I need to use a pillow on top of it, but I am still glad I got it.)
