This Rosa Parks arroved looking brand new. She looked very cute and well made from first glance. Pros: -The box she came in had many details and a summary of her life on the back -Came with a certificate of authenticity -Her clothes and pair of shoes were excellent quality and had many details -Her clothes were removable so dressing her up in other barbie outfits was easy -Her glasess were adjustable -Her hair was neat and shiny -The plastic stand that cane with her held her nicely -Her face looked just like Rosa's face and she looked a lot like the real Rosa Parks -Her limbs were bendable so I could pose her easily in many ways. Cons: -Her bun was partially flattened because of being pressed against the packaging -Her glasess were a bit out of place -She was hard to open because the bands that were holding her into her box -WHERE'S THE BUS????? Really good quality, worth the money and wait. Great gift for a history lover or doll collector. Very durable, overall great quality. I would recommend

As a child I heard my parents talking about what the sacrifices of people like Rosa Parks meant to the human race. And while Parks might not have been the first to refuse to give up her seat, she definitely symbolizes a movement towards change. So when I decided to start collecting barbies, I thought this would be a nice addition. She’s very pretty and there is a strong likeness to her namesake. She is wearing glasses, a box hat (with floral embellishment), a floral dress and wool looking coat. There are also some added details - gloves and a purse, that add to the overall presentation. 5 stars

I was an eight-year-old girl in Chicago when Ms. Parks was in the local news and I listened to the adults around me speak of her bravery. I didn't understand why she couldn't sit wherever she wanted on the bus since my mom and I could when we were on the Chicago transit! At that time, I was told how different it was in the South. I learned strength and bravery from her! That's when I was first introduced to racial problems and Rosa Parks became my most admired person! Thank you to Mattel and the designers for the care you took to produce this beautiful doll, hairstyle, detailed clothing, her cute hat, shoes, purse & eyeglasses of that time in our past.

Her face was beautiful but her clothing was a mess. The coat was was too short or too long. It was obviously adjusted with thread to fit. Still looked sloppy. Her glove looked 2 sizes to big. The cut of the coat was sloppy. I didn’t want to open the box to examine her dress because she is going to be in my collection. If I was gifting this to a child I wouldn’t care. The box had some wear on the corners. This didn’t bother me because she is for me. I am concerned about the doll and clothing. I’m a baby boomer, so I know the clothing is off . Will return for I hope, a better replacement. Thank you.

I am so H❤️PPY & LUCKY to have this Rosa Parks (Barbie) doll in my collection! I have the Katherine Johnson (Barbie) doll, too. I have made them "sister's"🙂. Everything about her is lovely, however, I wish Mattel had made her hair a lot longer, styled in a beautiful bun. Rosa Parks had long hair, so that is the only thing that I am displeased with. Also, her coat should have been fully lined. As is, the coat look's cheap & unrealistic. Rita, California. 01/18/'20. On the plus side, I got her for $9.99 on Amazon, so I purchased two!😊. It was a "2-day" sale event shortly before Christmas, 2019.

I saw the other reviews where the packaging was an absolute nightmare. In my case, I wasn’t gifting this doll or collecting her, so I didn’t really care if she came in crappy packaging. However, she did come in good packaging, it probably could’ve been better if you’re a collector, but it was totally giftable. It didn’t really matter at the end of the day because I just took her out immediately to play with her. I’m very happy with her and think she’s super adorable! Love her outfit and love that she is made to move!

So happy with this item. I ordered her from a US seller from Amazon and she arrived in just 11 days! The doll is beautiful. I am in awe of her lovely outfit which is reminiscent of the 60's Barbie I grew up with. Its well made, stylist and totally wearable. She has a pale green floral dress with a grey "woolen" coat, little white silk gloves all topped by a neat black pill box hat. Her specs are really cute and she has a super pretty little face. All in all she is a lovely doll and would be a pride of place in a collection- Fully recommended.

Thank you so much. I have not opened it yet but I can see from the box how beautiful and precious it is. It's just like the picture. The coat and glasses are very nicely done. It's so amazing I am not sure I want to open it. The initial add-on price was incredible. I ordered it on October 3 and although I was warned that it wouldn't be in stock until Oct 14, it was a difficult long wait. I kept worrying my order would get canceled especially after seeing the price increased. I was relieved to see it was shipped and then delivered. It did not come with any protection airbags or filling in the shipping box but they were not damaged. This is my favourite doll as of now. I wish I got more for gifts.

Ein gelber Bus fehlt nur noch. Die Puppe ist sehr schön. Für kleine angehende Politikerinnen mit Sinn für Gerechtigkeit bestens geeignet! Wer dem Zeitgeist folgt und Kinder umsichtig erziehen möchte kauft diese Barbie anstatt das blonde Pupperl in Pink. Eines meiner Lieblinge in meiner Sammlung!
